I think tfed is right. As of late Ruf can do Porsche better than Porsche can.

I would buy it. Ruf makes some of the most devistatingly fast cars ever to hit the Autobahn. They have a ton of models too, from late model Yellow Birds to the brand new 991 based super cars. Even a beast based on the Cayman

You are correct, the CTR3 a Ruf designed body. The CTR3 is based on the floorpan of the Boxster, which is, incidentally the same bit as used on the 911. The inner structure of both chassis are the same. The CTR3 has a completely new rear half of the car, as the chassis is cut just behind the seats. The rear structure is a tube frame structure with a billet aluminum rear cross member and suspension mount "plates".

So the front part of the chassis, various bits of electrics and trimming is all that's pretty much shared with the common Porsche?

Come to think of it, that RUF RXL does not look bad at all, that's a great find my friend 👍.
GT5 has hardly any SUVs so I think the the RUF Dakara should make its way into GT5 as well, or at least I for one would like to see it.

I agree with you about having more SUVs. It'll be really nice to race around a dirt track with them. This big guy racing against the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque '11, Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 '12, and Ford F-150 SVT Raptor SuperCrew '11.

This would make my day. I would love to have a premium Yellow Bird, RGT and CTR2 thats in the game currently. Id like as much Ruf content as possible. Especially the CTR3.
Too bad Gembella isn't an "mfg" like Ruf or we could get even more Porsche content through the back door since EA is being tight with its license.

It's PD, after all. It took them 5 titles just to obtain Ferrari and Lamborghini together (2010)....
I know Microsoft can shuffle out millions for a Koenigsegg, Gumpert, etc licenses, but damn, GT sells VERY well. And I bet PD/Sony can afford it, too. But do they want to? Or are they exclusive to another game developer?
It makes you wonder..... 5 years = 0 premium RUFs. 👎

With all you people and your constant whining about wanting RUFs, it's pretty obvious why there is such a great amount of disappointed fans. Not to mention that PD has so many requests going their way, they don't know who they should respond to first.
