Club Heaven (16 S-licence golds in one evening, 5th October 2005)

Well, as a favour to a friend of mine, I am golding his licences for him, and last night I set about the S-licences. Little did I think I would be able to do them all in one session, but that's what happened. Infact, by my approximation, it took just under 3.5 hours to get the whole lot done. Of all the tests, only 2 took more than 3 complete attempts to gold, and 4 (including the last three) were golded at the first full attempt.... Underneath each set of times are the amount of times I had to restart/abort a lap (R) and the amount of times I failed a lap (F). Each full attempt (finished lap) is recorded below with the margin inside the Gold time in brackets.

Nice acheivement! I'm planning to get a few more golds as my next GT4 task (the 25% complete one is nearly done - 24.6% complete last night). I usually start off ok, improve on the next few tries but then make silly mistakes, get frustrated and lose time.

Not sure I could cope with golding all the S classes in one sitting - it'd take me hours!

he he... well, he's not of the inclination to spend half of his life playing GT4... but he still wants the bonus cars on his gamesave, and I thought I'd oblige. I golded all the B-licences in under 1 hour , and was on-course to do the same for the A-licences but got dragged to the pub before I could finish. Two nights ago, I spent about 1 hour trying to gold IA-16 (Nissan R92C at Le Sarthe) and missed it by 0.053 s and didn't save the ghost , but last night I golded it on my very first attempt which inspired my to do the S-licences.

By the way, if you think that's bad, I'm also going to do Prologue, Concept and GT3 for him as well In return, I get his GTA: Vice City and San Andreas gamesaves 👍

Nice work mate! that tops! I havent tackled the S licenses yet.. ive got it! but havent tried getting gold, sounds like i might have to give this thing a go sometime soon!! 👍
But thats pretty amazing mate! 16 s license golding in one night!

Thanks Jase...👍 I'm sure it would be no trouble to a Div 1 driver like yourself... that said, I really felt like I was 'in the zone' (to use the parlance of our times ), especially tackling the last three tests, I was very confident and comfortable, and smashed my own previous best times... actually, now I think of it, alot of those times are better than the ones on my own gamesave ... oh well, looks like I have another project to do

Hmmm... maybe it's time I tried attacking those. Am stuck at 96% and am getting too lazy to finish the missions, this might be a good break from that.
