can somebody tell me where the option is to switch corner markers on and off, just realised ive set all my times with corner markers off, tried to switch them back on for this challenge but i cant find the option anywhere, it doesnt seem to be in main settings and isnt in race settings either? has it simply disappeared or am i missing it somewhere?

@GameOver77 Just go into event settings before the race and change the crowd size to large/medium from 'OFF' 👍

@torque99 crowd size controls corner markers??? ive crowd switched off so all i need to do is switch crowd back on and corner markers will be there for my time trial's ?

As far as I am aware they come on with the crowd so they should be there once you put it back on 👍

Not sure about that, I'm sure there is a separate corner markers option somewhere, can't remember if it's in the main options or the event options though. (I usually have them turned off too).

@doblocruiser they are corner turning point and break point markers, red being a hairpin corner, you can use them to pick out a braking points for the upcoming corner, with them switched off you need to know the track well, very usefull in dynamic weather races as braking points are different in wet and dry laps, can be difficult to judge with out them when the track condition keeps changing 👍

A bit off-topic, but do you mean to tell me that the markers change with the weather? I never turn them off and I always knew what they are there for, but didn't notice them changeing positions to suit the weather type.
Also, while realistic, I find it awkward that they are replaced with distance type signals when you race on closed circuits with laps.

no no the markers dont move in different weather, but your braking point needs to, so use the marker to judge where to hit the brakes in the dry and a different marker for the wet if that make's sense? lets say there's 4 red markers for the upcoming corner, maybe in the dry you brake at the second marker you reach and will slow down in time to make the turn, but in the wet you would brake at the first marker you reach to give yourself extra braking distance?
