If this happens to Port over the PS5 it will be one of the first games in a long while I will be buying the day it releases!! I'm sooo stoked!! I played every single one of the TXR titles across all the consoles and it was one if not my favorite arcade racer series EVER!! Always hope they'd bring it back! Now just hoping there's enough interest they decide to port it over! 🤞🤞

Pretty substantial update today. Main additions are a photo mode that can be used pretty much anywhere, ability to place stickers on car windows and use specific parts of rival sticker designs, tire stretching (visual only), and the option to have a manual clutch. Also a few other fixes and adjustments too.

Easily one of the best updates so far. 🤌

I did think it was kinda weird that you couldn't do vinyls on windows when some of the AI cars could. Manual clutch is sweet too.

Oh my god, a photomode. And it looks like it's a pretty good one too. Insane update.
GT7, Genshin and TXR updates on the same week, what is this, heaven? If only there was enough time to play it all.

"Full Throttle Reckless Driver". I quite like it. :D
I recently acquired "Full Throttle Flying Dragon", which replaced my long standing previous name of "Quick-tempered Eagle". Really have to try and find the page that explains how B.A.D. names are put together (each half is related to certain milestones you cross in-game, I remember that much), cause now that we get to keep a name we like I feel like getting exactly the one we want is a bit of a sidegame in itself.

Edit: Found a Reddit thread that catalogs a number of the known ones. "God of Poverty" sounds like a fun one to have

I’d be really interested in all the triggers/conditions.

Currently on “Full Throttle Evil Magistrate”.

The ones in the pictures just start at the top of the list and go to the next one when you hit the milestone for it. So if you had "Roughneck Fox" for example, and did enough races where you banged into other cars, it would advance the prefix and offer you "Scammer Fox". If you also did enough races in that session where you avoided walls, it would advance both and offer "Scammer Falcon".

There are a fair amount that aren't listed there, I know there's a list for how many times you end races very quickly (I believe that's where "Quick-tempered" came from, I had "Irritable" as a prefix before that) and one for how many times a race goes a very long distance. The time of week ones are offered if you do 15 or more races on that particular day, if I remember correctly.

I did get a couple of the special ones, "Unidentified Driving Object" is from going high speed for a long distance in one session and not challenging anyone, and "Rule-Breaking Outlaw" is from driving the wrong way for a while, and if you frequent any parking area enough times it'll give you the name of that PA with "regular" as a suffix. And of course some of the rival stickers will still give you a special name if you apply them.

Hopefully when the game is fully released there'll be better documentation on it, I imagine that there's some names that have really crazy conditions to earn them and I'd sure like to have those as a goal to pursue.

Edit: Oh, turns out there is a second thread with even more conditions and name lists.

Ok...so I beat the campaign once already, then restarted after updating and now I've got regular team members that start the race and are gone in seconds. The two differences this time are I'm using a GT86 instead of the Mazdas, and I'm trying to run without any driver level upgrades.

I feel like there's something I'm missing, but I can't rule out a rubber band relating to driver levels, which I questioned with a few wanderers in my first run but didn't test. It could also be a nitro start, but I'm sure I'll be corrected by someone that knows better than me.

What upgrades are you running, which specific opponents (level, car, or the name) are giving you trouble all of a sudden? Driver level upgrades only affect attack/defense, they don't do anything else AFAIK. Note that the GT86 will only last you a certain amount of rivals, it's not one of the greatest cars IMO.

I've not seen rubber banding, but I do see them boosting/nitro, but hard to tell because no exhaust flames for them. I assumed it was nitro since they run out of it after the initial stint. You can test by running them again, at some point the nitro should run out for them. That said: I bought one of the custom cars and it did not have nitro, but maybe the others do, would need to grind/buy more.

I've done five playthroughs now, and finally nailed the last wanderer (Highway Gambler, which requires just under 78m in total earnings., damn't that was a grind). Going to pause a bit until final release, then start over.

Making progress in the second wave, but hadn't started on the bosses yet so L3 on everything I can get. Scorching Mirage was the one that did it first then was beat on the second go, then I lost to Polaris badly twice, but what threw me was Strong Formation giving me fits this time around. A few were able to be beat quick enough, but half of the team gave me a longer race, then either All-Or-Nothing Fullback or Offensive Lineman (Can't access the game right now, but the one driving an Impreza.) bolted off even faster than Polaris or Mirage. I did notice finally that my GT86 had lost some speed rating somewhere...which makes me question the unlocks again because now as maxed as it can be, it's lower SR than the Tureno I started this run with.

Just gave it a go with a GT86 at L3, but engine at 5 (since that's the optimal engine for L3 exhaust/intake). Ride height -3, other than that stock. Offensive Lineman I need full Nitrous just to keep up in the beginning. After that runs out he starts creeping away again, but after hitting 240 kmh I managed to overtake him. That said, the default gearing takes the car to 273, but I think you can squeeze out a bit more by shortening final drive, so it hits about 255-260. Should give you that extra bit of acceleration you need.

Without Nitrous: lol, no. :D

I beat the game (all 216 rivals) only tuning ride height and final drive this last playthrough, so that should be all one needs.
