@c_14S6 I have to agree with the sharp eyed Mr @MeanElf Although this isn't a competition with strict rules it does clearly say on the OP banner 'Week 2- Wester Ross Scotland at 10.30am with heavy precipitation '.. The idea of the thread is to get different creativity and photo ideas of the same car, colour, track at the same time.

Feel free to swap them over for some Wester ross @ 10.30am in rain but as it ends tomorrow 6am you might be best to try again with tomorrows new car and track unless you win then the rules might have failed :lol:👍

......so this confuses things :boggled: I think the fairest way is to divide the next race with all 3 contributing to what it will be.

If you guys think of another way let me know but I think this would be fair as all have an input.

Ok week 3 now open

A good choice by all 3 winners this should make for some interesting photos!..It is a long winding track with a fast white gleaming Ferrari in beautiful scenery and dry conditions and lots of photo opportunities...Looking forward to your creativity and seeing how the car looks with different laps, cloud formations, lighting, framing, background and ideas and takes by different people.

I will add as mentioned if you want to place more cars in the background in race conditions feel free to do so but the main picture has to be of the white F12/s in these conditions in OP.. I think 5 pictures maximum is still enough at this time in this thread and as more people join we can expand and tweak with more ideas..see how this thread grows in the next few weeks anyhow and all your 'ones that didn't make it' will look great in the main photo thread so others are tempted to join this thread!!.:sly:. Okay, here goes with a bold one :) Fortunately the crowd seem to be doing their part too, though I'm sure they don't actually react to a crash like they do in other games, the effect however in this instance is quite similar.

EDIT: as you lot will be bringing forth gleaming examples of beauty, I thought I'd go the other way :mischievous:

Just a random thought: What's about just posting one picture per user. Your best shot. Because its some sort of competition it would be fair if every user posts the same amount of pictures. Maybe this intensives the creativity xD

The competition aspect isn't actually the primary reason behind this, it's to see the different 'eye' people can bring to a given scenario. I think the competition side only came about to help decide who would choose the following week's parameters.

I know. Maybe you pick one shot for the "competition" and post the rest of your pics as bonus. But as I wrote, it was just a random thought. Don't want to force this into the rules. I kinda liked the idea in the first place.

@MeanElf A Few ideas to throw around

1/ You are allowed 2 separate posts the first post with only one picture (final entry) and the second post your bonus shots or ones that did'nt make it -say up to another 8 shots.

2/ Your top pic is the one to be chosen and you write final entry under it then you write the rest are bonus shots (up to 4 and keep the total at 5)

3/ or....how about just trying - one master pro classic 1 shot per week the rest go in the main thread?

Any thoughts or additions guys? 👍
 
If we intend to make this a more "focused" competition (and I'd totally be in, guys) shouldn't we also have a poll instead of counting the "likes" on the post?

I'd definitely be more interested in option 1 if I could - 2 is like we already have except the differentiation, which is an improvement, and number 3 I (personally) feel would be sort of counter to the point of the thread in the first place.
 
Coming from the GT6 Photomode Competitions, where I am still a competition host, I really like the difference of this thread and think the multiple image aspect is a real asset to it. So I wouldn't like to see it go to just one shot which as @MeanElf said would defeat the original idea of the thread.
Separating a 'final entry' and extra shots into individual posts could make the 'likes' method of voting more relevant so could be worth a crack. ;)
I believe going to a poll would mean creating a new thread for each week which then becomes like a regular competition and probably would need a photomode competition sub section to be created so not to clog up the photomode section. So I think the 'likes' system still is currently our best option unless we just take turns to chose the combinations, or the person choosing the current weeks combo also nominates a member to chose the following weeks combo.

I Edited and changed 3 photos. No one has really taken advantage of that lovely sky/sunset so have gone bold and added a portrait and saturated the sky..

p.s Just to clarify on next week are we saying we are allowed 2 posts with your first post one single photo and your second post bonus shots or is it all one post and the top photo is your final entry.

Is this all going to get confusing to vote for and maybe stick to the current 5 photos as thinking on it this is more creativity posting than a competition for a single entry photo. :boggled:

Nothing wrong with the 5 shot system your using now mate, its changing for changing's sake really, im happy with it as it is now, its not supposed to be an all out competition, supposed to be for fun, with a winner for fun. personally im fine with it the way it is 👍
