SCEE Executive: GT5 for Christmas 2009

What worries me most is the fact that GT is losing some it not most of it's core audience. Forza 3 will be released in 09 and so will another installment of PGR. Although some may argue that these games are not GT that doesn't mean they don't have their own fanbase and although not on par with GT they steal from it's spotlight. When they do release GT5 the sales will reflect that. An Xmas 09 release is completley unrealistic and so is the claim they they take 6 months to model a car. I hope PD realize that the competition is right on their bumper....

I don't give a damn if there will be a thousand Forza games before GT5 is released. I will not get into Forza...
PD sells like never before, so I don't get why you're worried.
And no, it's not a competition IMO. Forza fans will never change to GT and vice versa. Forza and GT are two completely different games in my view. KY will never ever be affected by how fast other games are developed. He does what he has to do in his pace until he is happy with the product.
It may take up to 6 months. I bet by now it takes em few months... Besides they work on about 10 (just random number) at a time.. it's not like they work ONE at at time 
Besides.. why GT will loose its fans? Right now GT is in PROLOGUE stage.. not a full game, so I understand not many as FULL game copies will be sold... Just because of other race games? Heck you like Forza3 and rFacotr 2.. then get all 3 games. It's not like a Console guy will only buy ONE game..
Damn right man. Just because some other race game comes out does not mean GT has to be rushed.. Just look at Froza 2 and how simular to 1st game it looks, feels, and still with crappy car models... Heck Car models on GT4 were far more realistic. That's what happens when you rush things.

You're kidding me right?......that like saying I cant wait for GT10 to come out on PS5 because they should have added realism like the smell of burnt rubber etc.....lets set our goals a little closer to now shall we

Exactly my case, I wouldn't live without GT5 if I knew there's Japanese version already out. PD, please make GT5 the first game with international release date!
