Search engines question

Is there any way to forbid google and other search engines from using my posts as search results? To stop them from using my content in any way? It is possible in Facebook.

Last night I was searching for a car and it really creeped me out when I saw my own posts.

Not unless Jordan blocked them from the whole forum, no, and I rather doubt he's planning to do that. A crawler scans a whole page or not at all, it can't ignore certain parts, in this case certain posts.

I wonder do removed/changed posts get "removed" from results list?

I am sure it in the Terms of Service or something like that, when signing up. Right?

No, anything that you post to the public forums will be visible to the public, including search engines.

Removed/edited text will eventually be removed from Google searches whenever they update their index, although content may live on in other caches.

Probably it is, but not specifically stated. And I was a sheep when I logined here lol

And sadly I can't make them invisible to public. I can't hide from those search sites.

Maybe the other method would be to contact search sites to remove those results. Well, good luck to anyone with that lol. Or to remove myself from here completely.

If you post publicy, you should kind of expect it to be viewed by the public, right?

I am just wondering why it is a bad thing to that it is public to search engines? There are no bad topics here to get you in trouble or anything.

You are free to edit any post that you have ever made here to remove information that you want to take down.

Well, I excepted that, but I also excepted some way to make myself a bit less visible, actually, besides the Jordans way.

I don't want to get unnecessary fame IRL lol

You're just 'Neddo' though, assuming that is not your real name then you're still rather anonymous. Not like Facebook, where everything is tied to your real name.
