Season Event Drifting, Reward?

Been playing around with some drifting for fun, and have been trying my... luck, at the drift challenge in the seasonal events. I'm nowhere near the top of the rankings, nor am I even capable of obtaining it, but I was quite curious as to whether there wil be any rewards at all for the people who finish in the top 3, 5 or something of the sort?

Searched GTPlanet as well as Gran-Trusimo.com and couldn't find anything relevent, other than a single post, with no proof or data to back up. Anyone have any insight to this? Bragging rights are great, but it'd be nice to see some type of reward system.
