The Fiat race is killing me, only because I'm trying to do it as stock as possible.

With 100% bone stock car, I am averaging 1:21-22s and about 6 or 7 seconds off the leader at the end.

With semi-racing flywheel and clutch I am doing 1:20.6-9's consistently, have gotten as close as 1.5 secs from leader. My best with this setup is a 1:20.103.

With flywheel, clutch, cone filter and fixed suspension kit I am averaging around 1:20.2-4 and have come as close as 0.4 secs... grrrr! :)

It's quite fun! I am certainly enjoying it. Nice job PD!

Edit: I run my brake balance around 4 -2 or 5 - 3, all assists off (I'm using a G27). I brake super late and super hard with a very sharp turn in at first. Once the car has slid (rotated) on to the line I want I do some pumping to get some grip back in the front wheels and I'm off again. The braking rotates the car very nicely and there's ample wheel spin to keep the revs up, seems to work well.

123hp -
Aero Wing - set to 17
Sports Exhaust
FC Trans - set to 168mph
Twin-Plate Clutch
Racing Flywheel
LSD - 7/30/10
Ride Height -25/-25
Springs 6.9/5.8
Extension 4/4
Compression 4/4
Anti-Roll 4/5
Camber 1.1 / 2.4
Toe -0.16 / -0.26
Brake Balance 5/7

Just won with this, 11.8 seconds ahead. I didn't add the aero, and I think your top speed is a typo. I set mine at 130mph, but I could have put it a step lower and been OK.

Suspension is must... Drop it a fair bit and toe out on front and rear but greater on rear. Will help a lot.

I made this post in another section regarding the skyline race, but can not be bothered re-typing it.

so i will just link the post, this tune involves no messing with settings in any way and is a easy win for the skyline race, the car was simply build around its good characteristics.

Skyline GTR 94 is the way to go https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=149243&page=2#post4416315

P.s. i dont know why everyone seems to be messing around with fully custom trannys and lsds ect, apart from the muscle car event where i did use a cust tran all other events dont need them. In all the other races i just used the available sports 5/6 boxs and did not bother with lsds. I also got flywheels ect and just used the cheap sports susp kits and won these events with no problems, just get the weight and bhp as close as possible and buy cheap on everything else. no need for cust lsd or trannys on these events.

I tried this setup and the car couldn't corner, I used the LDP setup and it was a lot better but I still can't do better than 4th. :banghead:

RX-7 GT-X FC ( Finished +8.9 ahead )

Sports Catalytic Convertor
FC Trans - set to 162mph
Twin-Plate Clutch
Racing Flywheel
Carbon Drive Shaft
Ride Height -25 / -23
Springs 8.6 / 6.2
Extension 8 / 6
Compression 6 / 4
Anti-Roll 2 / 4
Camber 1.7 / 0.6
Toe -0.44 / -0.12
Brake Balance 7 / 4

For the RX-7 90' I used this tune, with only an modification on FC Trans Set to 120mph (190km/h) and worked fine to finish with Gold. This tune completly solves the skiding on curves.
However i had to turn off all driving aids (Except ABS in 1), otherwise the car seemed a very slow brick on wheels ;) (Before turning all off i couldn´t pass from the 4th Place...)
I posted because, for as dumb it may looks, it was the race in wich i had more problems to win it ;)

Dodge Challenger ( Finished +13.8 ahead )
425hp
Aero Front and Rear - Set to 16
Racing Air Filter
FC Trans - Set to 205mph
Twin Plate Clutch
Racing Flywheel
Carbon Drive Shaft
Ride Height -23 / -17
Springs 7.0 / 5.4
Extension 4 / 4
Compression 4 / 4
Anti-Roll 2 / 2
Camber 0 / 0
Toe -0.32 / 0.11
Brakes 7 / 8

Great tune. Won my first try by a healthy 8+ seconds. I did, however, change the FC to 162mph due to what others have said. I've been having some trouble golding all the other events, so I'll be using these for the others and see how it goes.

Dunno if help is still needed, but for the GT-R race, the R35 (NOT V-Spec!!) with weight reduction and drivetrain upgrades is the best machine.
Only Oil Change is needed.

I used the GT-R specV '09.

All weight loss parts fitted and Aero parts, with Aero set at max (2/22)

A Sports Intake Manifold and a Sports Air Filter took it to 492 BHP (NO oil change).

Fully Custom Transmission set at 180 mph (6th gear is at 0.932 for kph users)

I then used the tune as mentioned before (LDP GTR Spec X Predator Edition) which is as follows:

All Drivetrain upgrades, with LSD as:
Initial Torque 5/13
Acceleration 20/45
Braking 10/20

and Torque Distribution at 25/75.

Suspension:
Ride Height -20/-20
Springs 15.2/10.0
Dampers Ext 6/6
Dampers Com 6/6
Anti-roll 4/4

Wheels:
Camber (-) 2.2/1.5
Toe Angle 0.18/-0.10

Brakes: 6/5

I could consistently get 2nd/3rd but was struggling to get the power down smoothly enough (DS3) and was 13 or so seconds off the pace. This tune helped a lot. After a couple of races learning how the tune affected performance I took the Ford GT at the small S just before the hill on the last lap and won by a second.

For the RX-7 race I set Ride Height at lowest, springs 8.8/8.8 , transmission at 143 mph (1.023 6th gear), Aero to max (0/20) and fitted a catalytic converter. All other settings were stock, and took time to learn where to pass cars and where I could push. Not easy on the comfort softs!

Not only did this do the job, it's also one of the best tunes I've ever driven. Such pleasure! Thank you.

Fiat Settings that I used
Car Settings
CF Hood
Aero Kit - Rear - +15
FC Tranny - 87 Top Speed
Twin-Plate Clutch
Semi-Racing Flywheel
Sports intake
Adj LSD - 40/60/5
Fully Adj Suspension
Ride Height - -20/-20
Spring Rate - 15.0/2.0
Dampers(E) - 1/4
Dampers(C) - 1/4
Anti-Roll - 3/3
Camber - 3.4/4.0
Toe Angle - 0.40/0.60
Brakes - 5/5

Thanks this worked great 👍 but I used window weight reduction. I doubt it made much difference though.

Thanks to you too. Both of these worked for me 👍

Well, I must say, this was easier than expected.... did it in my first try.... Felt a bit cheap and didn't want to lay out a bunch of money on the tune setup, so I just went for:

Full aero setup - didn't change downforce - +15

Carbon bonnet

Put on the Sports air filter

Put on the 5 speed transmission

Clutch: Twin plate

Flywheel: Semi-Racing

Suspension: Adjustable Sports kit - Didn't change anything (forgot and it worked)

Brakes - didn't change anything

Basicly I just went full steam ahead on every corner, tight turns 2nd gear and just let the tires grip with full speed.

The last turn, full speed in 5th gear!

Cleared it by a few secs.

Hey guys, I just want to say THANK YOU!

The tunes in this thread were excellent and enabled me to gold all the events. Since I don't manage to get much time to play I was stuck at level 13 with a small bank account but with your guidance I can now afford some nice cars.

I did have one small problem. I took my Challenger to the track for some practice before running the event and after a few laps it gained 1 HP and no longer qualified. DOH! so I would suggest not testing your car too much before hand or you will have to take some go-fast parts off to run.

keep up the good work!
