Yep, the reasons why seasonal events and an ability to sell cars weren't added to Gran Turismo 7 via its base game or April-July updates:
-Polyphony Digital can't do everything at the same time.
-Japan reduced worktimes due to problems that overwork causes, such as certain health issues.
-The COVID-19 pandemic.

This is why we need to be patient.

"Japan reduced worktimes due to problems that overwork causes, such as certain health issues".?

Hire more people? Require results from your employees? Pretty lame excuse imo.

How exactly do you know those are the reasons? They have, supposedly, 300 staff members.

Also, all of those things were true in March when they made the claim selling cars was coming in the near-term. As it was when they said seasonal events were coming. The statements should have already taken those into consideration.

It's just GT6 course maker again. Make promises and claims that are way off reality. No COVID that made that take two years longer than Kaz first suggested.

If Japan is anything like America right now, they can’t find workers. My wife’s architectural firm is starving for employees. Everyone wants a minimum 10-15% over market standard fresh out of school in entry level positions. On top of that work from home and an extra week of vacation. It’ll be interesting to see how this trend manifests once the recession lands in full force

Oh, thanks for letting me know this.

Polyphony Digital wanted to fix bugs in Gran Turismo 7 as they delayed it to March 4, 2022, due to the COVID-19 pandemic; Japan was working on preventing Karoshi; because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Polyphony Digital didn't add more certain tracks like Grand Valley Speedway, more certain cars like a Lexus LFA, and other features like seasonal events to the base game of GT7.

Again, where are you getting this from? PD gave no specific reason for the delay, in terms of what they needed to do. They made no claims COVID was specifically the reason for lack of content. Kaz even claimed it didn't affect them that much.

Yes I know it was the reason given for the delay by Sony but it's convenient isn't it. Like I said l, this isn't new for PD, being slow and missing deadlines. They've always been like this, long before COVID was a thing.

As for their working hours, unless you have some inside sources, you've literally no idea.
