Seasonal Tuning Challenge 1: Nurb time trial! Testing done by 5/2!

I will compile results tonight and send out PMs for prizes and such. My youngest got a hold of my time sheet and it has disappeared. :odd: I will do some quick runs tonight and hope I can produce some decent times again. If not I suppose we will have to run with what we have.

Just as planned. :mischievous:

……

But the Fire Sisters were ahead anyway, right? :P

If it had you on top but he lost the times as proof…you won't be so happy, would you?

So…come on DB! Lock the kids out for an hour, get them outside. Give yourself a moment to yourself and bring it home for the Fire Sisters!

DOUBLE POST ALERT!

Anyway, since the TT just closed down, DB, I guess you have two choices:
1. Throw it in and give us the win (👍 for us)
2. Run it in practice, give feedback and end things nice and tidily for the first ever STC event. (Also a 👍)

Yeap, night didn't work out well. Kid dropped an iPad on her toes so I spent some time at the docs. :grumpy: Nothing broken but there's a nice ugly bruise on her big toe. :scared: Apparently those first gen iPads are brutal to toes...

Anyhow, I will close up shop here and post the results tonight. Everyone that took part please send me a PM or post here what you would like as your prize for participating. Remember it is any one car up to 250k from the NCD. Thanks everyone for your participation and we'll see when we can have another one of these quick events. :dopey:

Glad to hear your daughter just got away with a bruise. Maybe you should buy her a puppy instead of some terrible Apple product?👍

I'll take a Toyota GT86. Paint it a pretty colour if you want. :dopey:

How did I know you were going to request a GT86...:odd::lol:

Because every shootout so far where I've won a car, I've chosen a GT86. It's my thing now.
Oh yes that's right, your trying to become the first GT5 owner with a full garage of 2,000 GT86s.:lol:

Whaaa... there's no premium Honda Beat  well forget it then :grumpy: (it seems I was never "officially" in this anyway  )

Hope your daughter is okay. Look on the bright side, at least it wasn't an Atari :dopey:

So getting her to put on a pair of socks and shoes would be an interesting situation...how much swearing and how much candy would you need before she sticks the bruised toe into the tight little shoes I'm guessing they wear.

Soo...Yay! We win. Though you could have run the times in practice mode, though I understand if you didn't have the time or energy.

As for the prize? I'll do what I've been doing for pretty much every shootout and say "I'l get back to you on that later", I can't think of what I want yet.

The iPad is her mother's actually. I got the kids Kindle Fires for their birthdays. :D I work with mobile devices for a living and avoid fruity things like the plague.

I'll come up with a funky color for your Toyota.... if they aren't sold out by now.

NascarManiaco99
Give me a Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II '94 painted in Crystal White. It's gonna be my 6th premium R32.

On the list! Any color preferred?

I will send you something random like last time, which I bet is handy now with the current shootout. ;)

She whines for me to pick her up all the time now. And I never could get her to keep anything on her feet, she's like mommy that way.

Let me know when you decide on something. 👍

Thanks. As of right now it looks like I'm entering the last car you sent me 👍... but I can always change :dopey:

Oi, DB, one thing I really need to know. Of the entire lot (that you remember of, anyway), which one do you remember being the better to drive? :D

All I need to know is if mine is worth a post in my garage, or is it just a big pile....but I too would like to know I guess. :dopey:

As far as I am concerned the whole lot are deathtraps! :D Kidding.

I do remember Onboy's being a little on the wild side, which I think was intended and it still felt pretty good other than being tough the handle the first few laps out. One of the white ones had the best feel to it. Honestly, I think it was probably Roj's since I'm so used to driving his tunes. :embarrassed: Hopefully I will find my notes before she's off to college. If not I'll build them and run them again in practice.

Sent Roj his GT86million (as in garage count:D) last night. NM shall have his CRYSTAL WHITE Skyline tonight. Still working up the random ones in my head. :)

That will be my 3rd R32 in Crystal White. The other 3 are painted in Black Pearl (M).

Of course mine would be the most stable. It's been my DTM workhorse since 2010.

Your GT86 is actually #41 in my stable of GT86's. :P

41 is a good number. :) Did you use the paint chip on it? I was curious what it would look like but didn't have the time.
