The first 2 seem too bright to be extremely realistic, but still good.
And the last one looks too dark. A little brighter and it would be very realistic.

Very good, a bit grainy like can be expected from an old camera that has seen its best days. 👍 The last one is dark, but it's also my favourite as there are shades on every track, not just sunny places.

It's a shame that the wheels betray the car, they don't look like the real wheels (I've seen DTM Calibras in real life) but it's a known shortcoming of the Photomode.

I dunno, it has something pinklike on my screen, I'm sure my screen itsself effects it too though. I dunno, it's too white and a tiiiiinnyyyy pink here;)

I dont see ny pink rly, just some surfaces reflect pinklike, I dunno it's really subtle but enough to notice. I love the car choice though!

Thanks for the comments.👍 Though I see I had more success with my previous style, so I guess I switch back to that again. This actually was a bit of an experiment you all might have seen that.

GT4Fan, I don't know what you're talking about pink, must be your monitor...:scared:

In thumbnail form the 1st pic looks very realistic. Only if you study it close or make it full screen do you notice that all the black in the intakes and wheelwells is pretty under saturated. The rims look really flat, too.
The second pic doesn't really have anything special to comment about. All except the brights glare on the passenger side of the ol' Calibra. Looks like a sunny day.
I like the darkness of #3. It looks like the clouds have moved in over the other end of the track, which happens very often on a track so large. Either that, or it's the last shot of the car in a movie, accentuated by the widescreen format. I like all the trees in the background; it looks very "Germany", ya know?
Whenever I take shots at the Nurburgring I use the half-saturated setting in Photomode to give the picks a cloudy, mountainous, northern Europe feeling. I always stereotype Northern Europe as a cloudy, cold, rainy place, even though I know it isn't. I probably get it because I think of England, which is cloudy, rainy, abismal place.

Yeah I dunno, because I know you would not have added pink gradient to the picture, thats a big error to do, you dont make many errors at all:crazy:

So well I must say you have probably done a very nice job, too bad I dont see them the way you meant....stupid monitor...

Thanks for the positive responses, I'm pretty glad you like the shots of the Calibra.:)

It looks great, but I see some jaggies. Around the hood and the top. :scared:

But the backround seems... off. the car and the backround doesn't seem to blend well, IMO. :indiff:

But, still, it's a great shot. :)

And thanks ekmatt, what a daring comparison!

Thanks man. 👍

Well, there's something to celebrate: Takeo Fukui (Director of Honda) confirmed that there will be a follow-up to the NSX in 2008. :dopey: I thought I had to celebrate it with a pic:

Meh. I've seen better from you.

The leftmost headlight looks like it's popping out. The rims are wanting to make the car moving, but the lack of motion blur doesn't convince me. If you shot the car at a different angle, without the popeye headlight, and without the blur on the wheels, it could look awesome. This particular shot may have been helped by lowering the camera to the ground, instead of 3-4 feet in the air.

This pic isn't up to par with your benchmark, but it's still decent. It's not one of my favorite shots from you. :indiff:

The headlight is supposed to pop out. I didn't take a low angle because I like the shape of the headlights pretty much, but thanks for telling me why you don't like it.

It is? Well, it still looks tacky. :indiff:

But I know you'll do better next time. :)
