Man, I've missed a lot in the past week or so.
I saw that DTM update back when you posted it, but said "I'll comment tomorrow". I kinda forgot. Anyhow, I think that's a really neat idea and I've never seen it before, except in some car-ad type photoshops. But that's a different category. All the little GT pictures are great, but they really show that a video game probably will never be perfectly realistic. Looking at the real pictures just makes me think GT4's graphics are terrible. It's almost like the cars are too 3D and the details are nowhere near sharp enough. So I'd like it if you didn't mix the two together anymore, it makes it look like the game pictures suck. The blur is psychadelic and looks good, and the flaws are kept to a minimum. I did notice that you tagged the right front tire of the car on the left a little, but that's about the only blur-related screw up I could see.
This Renault picutre I'm looking at right mow is also very unique. Is this your new style, just posting one astonishingly perfect picutre? If it is, stick with it. I think it's kind of funny how the big power car on the right looks like it's doing a face-plant, while the low powered car on the left looks like its back end is coming down first. It looks like you have a little dbit of the diffuse glow filter in there, the way the highlights on the front ends are poppin out. Am I right, or is it just a gaussian blur? I see you've gotten better in a short period of time--keep it up.
That Viper picture is super duper nice. Ilove the blur that you have on the car. It's really weird looking--the car isn't blurry or out of focus, it's just really smooth and flowing and it looks like it's made out of plastic. Well, it is. But that's not the point. The point is that it looks like awsome plastic. I dif the reflections on the paint, especially on the right rear corner. Damn, it really does look like the car has a clear coat! It's crazy! The little details are what matters, like having the red wall and blue curbs in the background that match the car's red paint adn blue window reflections, respectively. The blur on the background, once again, is amazing.
You know, I think you should do a purposely crappy update, just so I have something to complain about. I love reveiwing/complaining, and that's why I've been chilling in the off-topic threads. Keep up the awesome work.
