Hmmm.....
Well, the first Pagani picture is about halfway cool. I really like the background, the colors in it, the blur, and the cracks you can see in the asphalt are really cool. The car's color mixes well enough with the background. The back 2/3 of the Zonda look pretty good, all except the lttle edge that should be on the back edge of the vent right behind the fron tire. I'm pretty sure I should see an edge, but all I see in that spot is a smudgy mess. That goes for the front clip of the car as well, because it looks really blurred and smudged and the contours are really drowned out. The front edge looks like a little wooden car how it's all square and stuff. And what the heck happened to the front edge of the front wheel arch? THe edge looks sharp, but the color is blurred and sort of blends with the black inside the wheelwell.
This second picture is definitely cartoony, as, I guess, you were going for. I'm slowly getting used to it. I like the bright colors of the grass and the curb and the blur looks good, even if it doesn't quite follow the contour of the curb. The cars look almost chrome. I think it's really cool how you can see the dash through the windshield, but just barely.
Will they ever make some sort of custom blur tool where you can lay out a bunch of lines, guidelines, that the blur would follow? You could make blurs in all sorts of shapes if you placed and curved enough guidelines. That would be cool for the depth blur, too, so you could put the vanishing point way outside the picture.
