Wow, I'm not the only person to have a B-day this week! Happy b-day to D_P and GR too! :)

I'm glad you all like this pic. 👍

@ keef: Start a gallery, now!! It would be very cool if you start one. I know you know alot about taking pics and all, so it will be all good. :) And a permit is a driver license right? I can't get it until my 18th... I better get working on that time machine. :guilty:

And thx for the e-card djskyline701. :dopey:

Yeah Sej, those Zoo pictures are really well done. You did a fantastic job of focusing and I like the depth of feild they have. Did you use a low arperature? Anyway, they look really professional and like they should be in National Geographic or something like that.👍

Hi guys, it's been a while, but I finally had time again to do an update. I saw a comp pic of 440 and thought hey i'd like to do a photo session with that car. So I tuned it a lil bit and balanced it out, and shot the photos at grand valley. I think they turned out pretty nice. The B&W pic was a bit inspired by 440 and the 2nd pic was inspired by ALPHA, so thanks for these ideas, hehe. I also tried to do a night shot for the first time, and it turned out pretty good but it could have been better. I liked the other 2 shots too so I let them in here too. If somebody wants a bigger version of the pic, just say it or PM me. Enjoy. :)

BTW thx 440 for the comment about my zoo pics. I really appreciate it, it means alot when you say something like that. I just tried to focus the hell out of them and I didn't look at the aperture settings, but I guess they were pretty low.

Also thanks GT4_Rule.

i like the last two photos. though they all look great. i still have to check back for the last one. it was taking a long time to load up on my pc, so i cant see the whole thing...looking good so far though!

Nice work Sejtur 👍 They are all very high standard as usual. Glad you update your gallery with GT4 photos again.

1. The orange monotone works very well with the backfire. The best thing is the bright colour that contrasts with the black body colour. The airbrake is another cool feature for the photo.
2. Excellent depth of view practise. I think the blur can bring a bit more to the far road. One disappointment is lake shore being a bit polygonal. I would also suggest to dodge the water, so that you bring more sun glares to the screen, and I bet it would be much interesting.
3. I always like B&W if doing it right. This shot reminds me those early work from JMX (white road black car). However those reflection can be cleaner.
4. I miss manipulated night shot for long time, good to see a new one again. Very good angle and editing. Good use of spotlight (I used that too), but somehow it is not very realistic, maybe the threshold is too high? The two which involves the bridge side cliff, you know it can't look like that, I think lower the background contrast may work. Or you may consider adding fog to the background (golden gate bridge foggy style).

the problem with the night shot as i see it is:

the lights dont seem to be coming from a source. its more like a halo effect.

the lights arent hitting anything. they are there, but, they arent hitting the bridge or any surface making it appears as if they are aimed off track or something. they dont feel apart of the track.

with the car, the headlights have the same issue as the light posts. plus the shadows from the bridge should be adjusted to compensate for the cars headlights.

the headlights also do not appear to be reflecting off any surface, just, there.

im not trying to be brutal or anything, just offering my honest cristism :)

It has been a while now sej but it's good to see another update 👍

I like them very much, the colourfull first shot with very noticable flames 👍 I love the way how you played around with blurs in the second, however; I think you could clean up the third better, it looks dirty...And the fourth is an awesome idea and well done but the lights of the car are a little too bright 👍

VERY VERY nice pics i love the backfire, B&W shots and the night ones.
+rep for the update! 👍

Thanks for all of the nice comments, I've really been missing them. 👍
I know the last pic doesn't look real and almost everything is wrong with it, but I just liked to try something like this, it's always nice to experiment. Thanks for all of the tips for this shot. Franz, have you done a night shot too or did I misunderstand you?

Very beautiful work Sej. I Love the last three shots. The high contrast black and white shot is very suave and the deep saturation on the 2nd shot is great! The night shot is very well done. I just love it!

I missed you a lot Sejtur, since you were one of the people, who made me start my own gallery up, anyway I love the last shot a lot.

Hi Sejtur... I'm fan of your work... but you haven´t been here lately... but you still the best to me... I hope my boyfriend don't read this!!! :scared: well, Keep up... and Great job in Mercedes update :)

Thanks for all of the sweet comments guys (and girl ;))

Nice job on those shots Franz, they look more professional than mine, and I know cause it was really hard to get all of those spotlights on the right places because the 'preview' image in PS was too damn small. I'd really like to see how a new night shot of you will turn out. If you still plan on doing it, good luck.
