Self obsessed or people overreacting?

I was going through some Yahoo news stories and I came across this one. Basically its about a Dad who took a video of his daughter making goofy "Selifes" of herself. I saw nothing wrong with it, she's a kid, she's having fun, but then I looked at the comments, Some people were saying that she's self-obsessed, Narcissistic, and needs counseling. All I saw was a 13 year old girl sending funny pictures of herself to her friends, doesn't sound too self obsessed to me, Maybe 50 "selfies" a day is over the top but I doubt that'll become a habit and I expect her to grow out of it. If I am missing something that makes her a narcissist I would like to know.
