Nope, not at all, but getting all the cars would also unlock all the cars in Arcade mode, except the Auto Union Streamline.

I play a lot of 2 player split screen in arcade so having bought and won a lot of cars we have a huge choice of cars to race with when my mates are round.
Also modified cars that you kept in GT mode can also be used in arcade.
Perfect if you don't like the standard tuning setup or want more than just 20% extra hp.

I was an all out seller on my 1st save, but i changed for my 2nd one. I was determined to have every car in my 'home' so i could compare them in various ways cause i'm a loser like that, i also want them kept stock, i won't even tolerate oil changes! so i buy as many 6.2 mile used cars as i can to avoid an oil change giving them more hp than they have at stock.
