I've seen this Golf in person and it's a work of art. I would love to be able to drive this in Gran Turismo 6. I wonder if all of these cars will end up in Gran Turismo 6.

it goes to show that the general public has bad taste... but that's exactly why we need a people's choice award, it's like the "miss congeniality" award... its intent is to weed out those who should not be winning, giving them a prize to be content about...

I guarantee the reason the Corvette is winning is that the company is boosting votes.
Telling friends/employees/family/(fake accounts?) to vote for their car.

Saying that your car won a "Peoples Choice Award" at SEMA for a tuner company is huge
Having the chance that your car makes it into a relevant VIDEO GAME with your company's logo attached to it is even huger

This is way to big for their company to just sit back and hope that we like it.

No offense, but people who voted for that Vette have poor taste. A sleek, elegant car ruined by baby blue paint and "look at me I'm FAST and AWEZOME" rims.

Someday.. the people's choice would be decided by the community of GTPlanet. (It would be epic if it really happened!)
This is why Facebook shouldn't be in control of the people's choice because that ugly bloated 'vette is winning.. If I had to pick between the "thing" or the Pantera, the Pantera hands down. (Even though the interior is horrible, but it would give us a DeTomaso to play around with!) The Golf or the 2JZ powered IS would be my top pick.

I personally like this plus, it's better than the other blue C7 but, I see no reason why it should be winning.

It's okay if some people like it; it's a matter of personal choice. In my opinion, it's okay as a show car, but it's not really my kind of thing.

But the main reason why this car should not win is that we already have a bunch of C7 Corvettes. I don't understand how everyone whines about the constant repetitions in the game, and now people are voting for a car that's technically already in the game. It's best if we could get a car that hasn't been in the game before.

People are just making things easy for PD...

Gave the Forge Motorsport's Golf a like. The only car that isn't awful and would be a great addition to the game.

On the other hand, how that godawful Corvette is currently winning is beyond me. The Pantera in second place is just as bad if not worse. Way to ruin a classic.
