That 2JZ-swapped Lexus or TT Mustang are what I prefer to see in the next GT, the 'off-roader/rugged-military' vehicles are pointless imo (especially the dually 3500). Unless we're going to actually be 'hauling' our cars, in trailers, out to the tracks ourselves, or in need of a vehicle to hunt down the Deep Forest Monkey, I see no use of their 'upgrades'.
(what relevance does that 3500's sound system have in a
racing game ?
)
Not even going to address the riced-out ... whatever those are.
(A tear shed for those lost
)
The TT Mustang would be nice as GT is lacking a bit in quality domestic presence (Vettes were neutered, Vipers never sounded right, Ford GT's are played-out, etc-etc), having a nice quality mustang would help ease that burden, lol. plus - it's Twin-Turbo 5.0 Coy-o, Race suspension & Brakes (take that 15th Anver. GT500) & one of my more favored Mustang generations.
But the 2JZ-Lexus wins it for me, because
'where the 🤬 is my Premium JZA80 Supra ?' . They (PD) detail-rape GT-R's so much that everyone, literally everyone, jokes about it (or Miata's, vise-versa). Meanwhile cars like the Mitsu 3000GT's, Supra's & other GT-R rivals lack that same detail, I feel they get a 'back-burner' treatment quality-wise.
The 'upgrade-list' looks the best imo, 2JZ (no sh-🤬), 6 & 4 piston Brembo's, Nice - quality centric wheels, A tasteful Modellista body that fits very well (imo), and 4 leather seats with '4 doors for more 🤬'.
If they aren't going to do Mr. Toyoda the respect of representing the JZA80 Supra well alongside the MK.3, they might as well have a sister-company decedent running one of Toyota's most respected and lusted-after engines in it's place.
🤬, get me started on PD's betrayal of my beloved Supra (or it's engine in this case), and I'll talk your ear-off and then beat-you-down with it as well. This may be 1 of my longest post on GTP, I'm going to go eat a snickers now and try to cool off
