You have absolutely no idea how hard it was for me to find how to vote

Just go to https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=366646946805917&set=pb.284593245011288.-2207520000.1383777884.&type=3&src=https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/1390551_366646946805917_345563724_n.png&size=488,300

Like the page, like the picture.

Or manually, like the page https://www.facebook.com/GranTurismoUS. Then click "Photos" (top right image), click the Pantera on the top right and like that picture.
Thanks for that, add another like to the tally.

I want to say it amazes me that the car with no modifications other than some rims and a bodykit is winning.

People are so shallow. It's the reason that graphics now are apparently far more important in a video game than actually being any fun to play, when the graphics are more than adequate...

This is stretching the truth, but
Look at what happens when you give the people the choice in what cars they want in the game. I think PD has some idea of what they're doing by not putting in all of the newest supercars, but rather the classics.
Kaz and PD have some restraint at least. He doesn't see much appeal in the super dropped stance crap. Nor does he see it in "rice" as people like to call it. Thats good to know.

We all ask for more influence on what cars get in the game, and yet when the opportunity arises it never works out as the general public who don't know the cars beyond 'ooh that's a corvette' end up being the majority of the votes! Kind of ironic I guess...

Was there this much hate when that riced out G35/37 won and was put in GT5?

If your talking about the High End Performance G37, I'm pretty sure it had a decent amount of performance modifications that weren't just asthetics, unlike the C7 that's winning.

That MK1 Golf looks really fun to drive. Can't see how it's not winning. That 2JZ Lexus looks like a blast to drift, too.

True, it will have to go against the traditional categories, and since that's not up to a fan vote, there's a good chance that gaudy Vette won't win.

I guarantee the reason the Corvette is winning is that the company is boosting votes.
Telling friends/employees/family/(fake accounts?) to vote for their car.

Saying that your car won a "Peoples Choice Award" at SEMA for a tuner company is huge
Having the chance that your car makes it into a relevant VIDEO GAME with your company's logo attached to it is even huger

This is way to big for their company to just sit back and hope that we like it.

Still don't think people get it. Its not GT Fans voting for the C7, its the company. Its not "kids" or any of that sort, its this company wanting to bring home the "Peoples Choice Award" PS3 Trophy. If you want another car to get that slot you have to beat this Tuner garage in the votes.

Riced out? The bodykit on the G37 is a whole lot more functional than that on the C7.

I sure am it even with with stroker motor and FI it was a ricey looking car IMHO. Didn't it have underglow?

That 2JZ-swapped Lexus or TT Mustang are what I prefer to see in the next GT, the 'off-roader/rugged-military' vehicles are pointless imo (especially the dually 3500). Unless we're going to actually be 'hauling' our cars, in trailers, out to the tracks ourselves, or in need of a vehicle to hunt down the Deep Forest Monkey, I see no use of their 'upgrades'. (what relevance does that 3500's sound system have in a racing game ? :odd:)

Not even going to address the riced-out ... whatever those are. :( (A tear shed for those lost )

The TT Mustang would be nice as GT is lacking a bit in quality domestic presence (Vettes were neutered, Vipers never sounded right, Ford GT's are played-out, etc-etc), having a nice quality mustang would help ease that burden, lol. plus - it's Twin-Turbo 5.0 Coy-o, Race suspension & Brakes (take that 15th Anver. GT500) & one of my more favored Mustang generations.

But the 2JZ-Lexus wins it for me, because 'where the 🤬 is my Premium JZA80 Supra ?' :irked:. They (PD) detail-rape GT-R's so much that everyone, literally everyone, jokes about it (or Miata's, vise-versa). Meanwhile cars like the Mitsu 3000GT's, Supra's & other GT-R rivals lack that same detail, I feel they get a 'back-burner' treatment quality-wise.
The 'upgrade-list' looks the best imo, 2JZ (no sh-🤬), 6 & 4 piston Brembo's, Nice - quality centric wheels, A tasteful Modellista body that fits very well (imo), and 4 leather seats with '4 doors for more 🤬'.

If they aren't going to do Mr. Toyoda the respect of representing the JZA80 Supra well alongside the MK.3, they might as well have a sister-company decedent running one of Toyota's most respected and lusted-after engines in it's place.

🤬, get me started on PD's betrayal of my beloved Supra (or it's engine in this case), and I'll talk your ear-off and then beat-you-down with it as well. This may be 1 of my longest post on GTP, I'm going to go eat a snickers now and try to cool off

I agree 100%

Don't think so.
Well I stand corrected. Granted its not anywhere near as bad as that vette.

I just don't understand how the Pantera is not winning:banghead:... JUST. LOOK. AT. IT. !!!!:drool::embarrassed:

We have enough 'Vettes people!!! Plenty of them!!!!

Please all we need to do is ask for our friend on facebook to like that car, with that we will easily get 100+ votes.
Spread the word.

I saw people earlier complaining about the interior, but when a car looks THAT good, does it really matter?
True, i don't see something bad about the interior....in fact, is "very" good.

1.414 for De Tomaso over 1.448 of the Vette. Just a few more likes....
