That's what I remember off GT5.

DLC in the store can be anything. Few hundred kb to several gigs.

From what I understood from GT5 was the content was added in a previous patch and the PS Store activated said content.
That's why hackers were able to get the track packs without buying it. They just changed the code.

How do you define "start of the day?" It's almost 5:00 PM in Japan. That's near the END of the workday.

And we usually get content the night BEFORE it's set for release. Our Thursday seasonals pop up at 8:00 pm on Wednesdays.

Since they do global releases simultaneously, and the US is pretty irrelevant to GT since we only turn left here, one would think "May 27" applied to people farther east of us.
