I’m a Senna fan, but I would never watch this. Just another case of cashing in, like 80-90% of every other production these days.

I’ll rewatch the 2010 documentary instead.

It was produced with the involvement of Senna’s family and the reviews suggest it’s a bit too reverential as a result, but I’m still watching when I get some time.

I watched the first episode yesterday and it was a strong start. The production team is almost fully Brazilian, so you know there is some national pride involved. Spoilers: It seems that Jean-Marie Balestre will probably the main antagonist of the series. We get to see his first marriage and his early years in karting/Formula Ford.
