Go out and buy "Born to Run" (the album), "Nebraska," "The Rising," and "The Ghost of Tom Joad," and you'll understand.

Didn't 'Rage Against the Machine' do a version of the 'Ghost of Tom Joad'?

Yeah, it was really good, but I guess this is going off-topic so I'll shut up.

First off, we never bomb to hit innocent targets. All of the targets we aim for are suspected military establishments. And second, when this whole war on terror started, President Bush said "It will not stop with Afghanistan..." Which means that this effort will continue for a very long time. I stand behind my leader, and I support most of his actions.

well, im glad u made the destinction "most". our elected officials are supposed to represent us, the voters. they are always subject to criticism (which is what makes that job tough). you shouldnt agree with a decision, out of blind patriotism.

but anyways, i agree with you that the war on terror is long from over.

i dont mean this to offend anyone but its going to be another big money grab for private entrepenours (spelling vat_man?). i bet there will be some sick bastards selling 'i survived septmeber 11 2001' shirts and caps. some people can capitalise on the worst things and it really annoys me.

i was right, a bunch of sick bastards are cleaning up by selling shirts and caps. the people that buy em are even sicker bastards than the sellers are.

Or possibly it is just another day. Sure, the anniversary of a horrific day, but it is still just another day.

It's not like I don't care that about 3000 innocent people died, I'm just sick of hearing about it every freaking day.

I agree, I figured today everyone in school would be walking around with neon signs that read "United We Stand" or some other crap like "We Will Never Forget". I didn't hear anyone really even talking about it which was good.
