That is true and while race 1 might be a follow the leader case, race 2 will be more of a challenge for the faster drivers due to the reverse grid. It also means in race 3, the 1 mandatory pitstop can be used to assist in passing by using strategy.

I just hope that race 1 has entertainment I agree race 2 should be better, but hope pitstops don't decide positions cos then it will be like race 1 again just dragged on for an extra half hour

I'm unfamiliar with the core stuff, what cars were they in? If anyone does overtake on these 3 tracks I'm pretty sure one car won't make it, but also tedium a slalom for 40mins sounds really thrilling, it's just with same cars that don't have a great burst of power on tracks were the longest straight is tiny(apart from Suzuka) and I'm guessing real slipstream every move is gonna be a lunge or a crash.

CSS was run in less powerful cars than this and with more grip so there is half the problem solved, more power and less grip will always yield better races as mistakes will be made...

No it wasn't, but all the cars were pretty much identical - we had 6 chassis and 4 different winning chassis from those and at the Eiger races we probably had the most lead changes

Eiger was probably the best round in terms of competitive racing in the CSS

Fairly certain that its AM as Caine usually writes in 24hour clock, and the last race is due to finish just before the start of N24, and he wanted to keep the format the same throughout 👍

Bah, sorry. Rushed a little to get the thread open before Christmas so I could open the signups. Knew there was something I forgot, but so used to not having driving aids allowed I overlooked it.

Only permitted driving aid is ABS. Will add it to the OP now. 👍

I can't find a GT500 series that runs on the same day as this, you have a link to the thread? Or are you on about the CORE Super GT? If so, both that and this will be running on the day of the N24, GT starting first, then this, then the main event.

It's a little quicker than me; my race pace is about 17.9 with my PB being 17.6
