And it‘s Citroën btw ;)

You're absolutely right. The downside of having symbols so much more to hand on mobile than on computers is it's easier to slip up like that.

[Edited for a typing error ("moble" changed to "mobile").]

The Sambabus is an icon since GT5 with the TopGear track. Best races ever. Know your history or learn it here ;)

It would be also clear to you what all the initial complaints were against GT sport. It was the part of the fans that were more into ordinary cars than racecars. You would say that PD makes the decision but bringing GT league in an update was a clear “sorry” from their side.

True that ordinary cars do not belong on a racetrack most of the times. Some exceptions of course. But do not forget that PD has not created beautiful road tracks yet. This was vastly missed by a big group of fans from the GT series. So you are partly right, but this part also was a major complaint of the community.

Furthermore I find it strange how people sometimes dislike certain cars since you have the freedom not to buy or to race with that car. Not meaning the OP but in general.

Exactly my friend !

At the Barret Jackson car auctions they bring big bucks now as they have become very respected and just plain cool. The beetles are also at the top of the heap ( 1 & 2 ) at the Global Rally Cross races as well. And most importantly, I can tell you from much GT5 experience the "Chics" love the bus. :D

I agree OP. One of the worst jokes to ever appear in this game. Who was clamoring for this vehicle? NOBODY
Seriously W TF

Personally, I wasn’t “clamoring” for the bus, but I’m glad it’s in the game. The car has a lot of charm and is simply fun to drive. It might not be competitive with other cars, but if you get a few friends together with buses, it’s a very enjoyable experience. You have to adopt a different driving style which involves maximizing your momentum and braking very little. I see a lot of people taking this game seriously to an extreme level. That’s fine with sanctioned races and series run here on GTPlanet, but there’s so much more going on outside of those events. Take some time to do casual races and you’ll find how pleasant this car is.

I was clamoring over this because I love older cars and Volkswagens. Sure it's slow but it's one of the most iconic and memorable cars of all time Volkswagen Transporters / Buses are sweet vehicles IMO. So Nobody is incorrect.

The funniest GT moment for me:

2 months back at a ufc fight party, a friend of mine decided he wanted a go at the wheel and GT. We had 100” projector screen, great home theater, race seat with the GT wheel( the one with the red dial), clutch and pedals with the shifter. Decided to give him full VR treatment in the SAMBA. He’s half drunk, possibly a bit stoned. It was the most hilarious thing! He’s looking all around the inside of this Samba just in amazement for a few seconds. Finally we get him to hit the gas, he keeps not pushing the clutch in all the way so after made the shift it went into neutral, but he kept it floored anyway just thinking he was flying cause of the engine roaring. I kept telling him it wasn’t in gear and he’s literally looking down at the gear shifter with his VR set on his head and yanking the shifter in the room and in the game. I laughed so hard it counted as sit ups, he did way better in the Cobra somehow. Good times

what I find crazy is that in VR i can drive the samba and 'feel' like I'm sat upright, yet drive the cobra in VR in the same physical sitting position and 'feel' like I'm slouching.

Ain't that the truth! The Peugeot hybrid vision car had me convinced I was flat on my back.

Also, the Samba interior had me so entranced that I spent half a lap of CO Springs looking over my shoulders at the vast cabin. Now I want to add passengers
