Server maintenance??

Same here in London. So I can't turn off my PS4 pro because they are doing maintenance. There has been a dark shadow over this game for me because of it abandoning the previous system and things like this are not making me think I've made the right choice buying a collector's edition and the T-GT to go with the game. Kaz has made a mistake......

Add to that I've taken next week off for the release!!!

Seeing the response all over the web this demo is getting you can bet its one of the most downloaded demos ever, could be as high as a million downloads and with so many people online the servers are bound to be overloaded.

I'm back online (London)! try reconnecting everyone. Its good that they resolved this pretty quickly, but its made me sceptical of the final product.

According to the game's manual, you can use some functions while offline, but your progress won't be saved.

Whole demo is locked offline likely to avoid people playing it after the 12th.

And you agreed with server maintenances when you downloaded the demo. It's in the description.
Pop-up window told me it WILL save Arcade mode but nothing else so I think it'll be the same in the Full release. Also i'm not very confident about other modes being playable at all when you're offline. Playable but not savable. What would be the point of that?

now, since the server interruption, Driving School progress is not happening .... task completed with gold, then the school does not advance to the next task

I'm getting online, but cannot enter races. Just getting errors.

Phew it's not just my version then! None of my options work at all. I can't even have a race against the AI.

Bugger. I was going to settle down for some frustration free fun. I guess I'll just get a bottle o wine instead then because I have no urge to play PC2 now. :(

I'm guessing the demo has proved to be a bit too popular for their own good!
