Yes, the timing is very annoying when all you need is to quit and have your progress saved.
Not having local cache is beyond idiotic - it is just poor design.
They better not reset user profiles. I am already on my way to using 2000 liters of fuel and lots of miles
I lost 300,000 credits due to this server maintenance. I had 850,000+ yesterday and now I have 500,000
Yeah, online save only is what will keep me from purchasing this game. To loose a full days worth of work is beyond frustrating! I'm so glad I haven't pre-order it! And as for the error code, I was getting it for the last hour, before I was finally able to connect. Thing was, I could still load in at times while I was having the issue, and all my money and mileage points were there, then they were reset once it was able to connect to the server!Well I'm getting a connection to the server could not be established. (NE-210003). They actually want me to pay money for this?
By the way, the online manual confirms no offline save. It's online save only. Get real PD.

Well, since a portion of what you acquire transfers over to the final product once released, it's kinda like losing progress in the actual game, don't you think? Lol This online only has left a bad taste in my mouth for sure. This online save bit is awful. I don't care about what is lost in the demo, but if this is any indication of things to come there will be many unhappy people.
PD Is doing the online only saves for the sole purpose of protecting the integrity of the data for FIA endorsement.
I can understand that, but there needs to be a way to separate what should be saved locally, and what is uploaded and saved on there servers. Like, keep what cars you own, money, and points and such on a local backup, then keep FIA regulatory stuff to were it's only stored in the cloud?PD Is doing the online only saves for the sole purpose of protecting the integrity of the data for FIA endorsement.

And exactly what is this FIA important data?
Any body can keep a logbook and get an FIA license IRL - no cloud save needed.
They are not tracking lap times, but the “important data” is how you drive, they want the good competitive drivers to race other like minded racers and keep the idiots that just want to cause chaos in a race away. I couldn’t care less about a license either, but I do want to race a good clean race with other people that want the same thing.
FIA and integrity don't go in the same sentence to begin withPD Is doing the online only saves for the sole purpose of protecting the integrity of the data for FIA endorsement.
HAHA true.FIA and integrity don't go in the same sentence to begin with
