Open weekend dates for LAN event

so I'm gonna have to go for the end of January now, seeing as it's too late for me to get this weekend off, especially for our year end close-out events going on at work
 
I'm in for the 30th/31st of January, if that's when it ends up being.

My new ride is on order, a 2010 Challenger. With any luck, will have it before we meet. :D

Makes me think I really need to get a thread going for my trip to Mt St Helens this summer. It was a dodge only invite, some sweet rides...vipers and volcanoes woohoo!

The drive up the main road is damn good, but my friend says the back-side drive from Cougar up to Windy Ridge is to die for. Once late-spring rolls around, I'm going to explore it in the Zed ;).
 
Okay, It looks like it's going to be the last week of January and since Leland is hosting he says he is okay with that date. Nick, since you are the race coordinator we need you to confirm that you are okay with that date too.
 
That sounds good to me.
All the races are prepared already.
What I could do with knowing is how many participants we'll have and how many race stations we'll have set up, as it'll determine whether we're able to do some more Dutcho style racing or not?
Don't want too many folks sitting off.

I've got my full setup to bring, along with the cables/switches etc.
Will contact juana b. to see if he's available either day too.
 
Okay, to everyone that is definitely coming to the event please send me a PM with a list of what you can or will bring. I can supply the usual racing RIGG cockpits up to 12 units for a full 2 way LAN. Looking forward to seeing you guys in the new year. The event will be at Leland's home in Pacheco, CA. Leland please feel free to give out the best direction to your home.

I kind of figured that. If anyone that is going to show will please PM me I will reply with directions for you based upon the direction you will be coming from. You can try to GPS your way here, but others have tried and failed before. Although Ramon was the first to be able to pull it off. Looking forward to seeing you guys in the new year.

That is a shame as I was planning on fixing a pot of homemade spaghetti sauce for Saturday lunch. That way we can fore go leaving to eat. Trying to make up for the time lost setting up. I will send some home with Nick if you are interested?

I hoping to try and attend this event if I can figure out how to get there. I just received a call from Ramon and he instructed me to post in here.
 
Howdy y'all. I'd like to attend but I'm not sure I'll be able to because of work. Sorry I've delayed posting it's just I've had my nose to the grindstone at work and at home learning Indy in the demo TT. I could loan some gear if that would help. And hopefully I can get the time off to have sechs!

EDIT-well I haven't had internet at home for the past week, since this original post, and won't get it back until Wednesday. This continues to cause immeasureable pain and suffering. Anyways, I think I'm in for Saturday at least, hopefully Sunday too. I can bring my G25, DFGT, GT4/5P discs, 27" LCD, and PS3(non PS2 compatible). My PS2's are not network compatible and therefore worthless to us I think. I'm looking forward to seeing y'all again. And I'm hoping we spend half the day taking joy rides in Vaxen's GTR! ;)

Now that we are less than 2 weeks away, I am wondering how many of you will truly be attending the LAN meet? Ramon do you have a count yet?
 
I'll be there. sorry i haven't gotten back to you guys, but i've been swamped with projects, reports etc at work. anywho, I can bring the usual PS2 and game disc.
 
Hi Guys - Not sure where we are on head count at this point? My friend Drew recently moved here from the east coast and is interested in attending, if we have room. I'll even split seat time with him, if needed, so he can attend. Will get him to log on here and post himself as well. He's 2k2 Z28.

On another note, it looks like my Challenger will not arrive in time for the event. :( Currently scheduled to arrive on 2/8. So I guess the joyrides will have to be limited to Vaxen's GT-R. :sly:

Looks like a one LAN meet. Also since some of the attendees aren't going on both days Leland was thinking if any of you guys would like to meet a day early like Friday afternoon or after office hours on Jan. 29th

EDK you are welcome to bring a friend. I will just bring as much RIGGracing frames ove to Leland. I just don't know if we will have enough Monitors and wheels. But we can setup a separate LAN for the PS3's to see how well it will work for the online testing. So everybody plaese post exactly what you can bring. From extension cords to disk GT4 and Prolouge
