Corvette C7 Gr.3 Dragon Trail, works with DS4, somebody try it with a wheel! TCS-1. ABS- Default.
For gears put final gear all the way up, max speed all the way down, then adjust every gear (every gear should be all the way up) then set final. Currently have a 1:40.071 Also my first time posting a tune and uploading a photo ☺ EDIT: Raise the front ride height shown by 2 clicks! View attachment 644516 View attachment 644518
I like your tune, and I have a wheel but can't touch your 1:40. I dropped two seconds to 1:44. Nice job on the tune, thanks for sharing.

8:11:896 :scared::crazy:

Thx for the setup @Mr P (do you may be have a screenshot of your sector times?)

I had to run a lap to get some splits for you mate... so I decided to record it live haha what a mistake!
It must have made me a bit more nervous than normal and I don't really know how I survived the lap clean. :D Ended with an 8'05.5xx but the lap is scruffy with 3 stupid errors but the splits are pretty much what I was hitting this morning due to clawing back after the mistakes.. just shows how much I could have shaved off without the errors 👎:ouch: looking at an 8'03 as my target now.. going back for more! Good luck guys

Despite the little nerve braking mistakes in the corners this is great driving. That extra pressure when you know you will be watched . 8:03 is indeed possible.

Now you put the pressure on my shoulders. I have to improve my time. I lose about 5-6 seconds in the middle part of the track. first 3 sectors and last 3 sectors almost equal. In some curves I have to take more risk and push the throttle. Also pay more attention to the exit speed. Later today I put on my racing suit and start practicing again and again and again 👍

Can any of you wonderfull car nutters give me heads up on how to improve my time(apart from the last two corners i know i screwed them up haha) on the Nürburgring with a time of 8.26.258 using the t150 wheel and peddles using @praiano63 tts set up

Thanks for any help

Use more of the track :) Build confidence to break your habit of staying in the middle, and practice the standard and late apex lines...

racing_line.png

Your line is leaving time on the track...

racing_line.png

From the apex you want to get on power, which you do, but heading more toward the outside kerb ('track-out point'). The outside kerb will push you back onto track if you touch it, so don't be scared of them.

Make the apex :) That said, remain wary of touching the apex kerb much, since that will push you off line in most cases.

Use the late apex line wherever the corner is followed by a straight.

Fine tune your braking points.

Finally, once the rest is sorted, work out which kerbs to ride up on!

Problem i find is for a 4wd car i cant send power to where i want the dam thing is locked to 45:55 from the production line in real life where i prefer to have more at 60-65% at the back to stop the horrible understeer

Plus i have only been using a steering wheel now for 2 weeks as i used to use the controllers ao i have ro get used to how the cars feel through a wheel with more ffb then a controller gives out

I know it's only a beta and things will most likely change so even more the reason to share your setups.

@EDK I found some time during a slow conference call. :sly: Disclaimer: surely mistakes abound, safety not guaranteed. But better than nothing. Maybe it would be smart to get the wheels turning on an official database like GT6's?

I will say praiano's tune takes some time to master. I haven't yet, as in, I still haven't matched the time I set using a previous tune (praiano's is quite unforgiving of mistakes and lack of confidence, since it's setup to rotate easily).

I think this is what I used to get 8:14.999 (edited, posted the wrong one earlier)...
Height 120 / 120
Rate 6.00 / 5.00
Stab 3 / 3
Comp 4 / 6
Reb 5 / 6
Camber 1.4 / 1.7
Toe 0.00 / 0.60
Initial 10 / 10
Accel 40 / 40
Brake 5 / 10
Gears - max speed 155 then adjust 6th to 0.928

Very stable, so good for learning lines etc.

Does anyone have the setup for the mustang gr4 at brands Indy?
It's for Brands full but it's the only one you'll find. Everyone and there mother are on gtr now myself included :

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/share-your-gts-car-setups.354696/page-2#post-11773878

When I was running it I played a bit with the gear ratio to have something a bit more fitted to Indy. Its a decent tune but fr car are too sensitive atm to be competitive against other drivetrains (also this tune might have been before the physics tweak). Good luck.

YES!!!!! 8:09 so I am through the 8:10 barrier!!

For reference see my sector times in the below screenshot. Sector 1 one second too slow...8:05 is still a level too high for me, but we keep practicing.

Hopefully ok to share in this thread although not a real 'car setup'. but can be helpful in combination with the setups already provided.

I edited because I posted the wrong setup earlier!

One more tip - take as straight a line as possible, everywhere. N300 doesn't like to accelerate when turning. So even coming out of a corner at a speed where you could stay on the side of the apex, take a line towards the opposite side because you will accelerate faster.

There's a few things that could be improved (as there are with my own driving) but one of the main ones I can see is that you turn in too early quite often. This compromises your exit speed because you often have to lift after you have initially applied the power and once you have to do that you are automatically losing time. You can see from Outspacer's diagrams the line you should be looking for and it's particularly important at crucial turns like Bergwerk (the right hander before the long uphill drag) where if you get it wrong you will be losing time all the way up the hill.

Changed the final gear of @Mr P's tune from 3150 to 3340, the gears seemed just a bit too long for me. Managed a 8:04.876 with still 1 small mistake. Don't think I can get below 8:04 easily though, I really pushed to get that laptime. Still good for #8 in EU right now so I'm already happy with it. :D I just wish I could do it in some other car as well and not just the Lancer Evo.

damn then I have tp try that as well. You only changed the final gear? No other changes to one of the gears? Did you already managed to set the right number for the 5th gear? I can remember you mentioned earlier you (just like me) could not set the same gear ratio value for the 5th.

In tonights races on the long final straight I was too slow versus the other Lancers. Even in slipstream could not get any closer

Only changed final gear, rest is still the original tune. While I didn't post about it I did actually have some trouble setting the gear ratios yes. Found out that setting final gear to 4500 first and then setting max speed to 200 gives you the right ratios. After setting all the gear ratios don't change max speed anymore and set the final gear to 3150, or in my case 3340. ;) Only thing I don't like now is the slow speed off the line, so I might still make some changes to 1st gear, it's a bit too long as well. During the race however having this long 1st gear is actually really nice. So it's a bit of a tradeoff I guess.
