Should have been 4-0 before Brighton got even close to goal.

Nice of them to knock the ball out of play when Graham Coughlan when down, and score while he was off the pitch.

Yet more proof that Derby can't keep a lead - or a clean sheet. Wednesday score twice in the last 15 minutes to take (yet another... :D ) the win.

Up to 16th, the highest "genuine" league position of the season - with a game in hand still.

Well, it's a good thing for you that Millwall are cack, Brighton & Hove Albion are almost as bad, and Crewe Alexandra can't hold onto a lead despite scoring first in many of their games this season, otherwise you'd be in the relegation zone again!

What happened to the updates, or are they just too unbearable to contemplate anymore? :guilty:

*refills pint glass of Jack Daniels*

Pass the barbiturates, noose, bucket of scorpions and cut-throat razor while I run this warm bath please.

Ouch, :ouch: nasty draw for you in the FA Cup too, just when Charlton were starting to look shaky, they pull out a couple of goals to win again. Still, it was only Blunderland that they beat! Surely the Owls can put up more of a fight than them at the moment......:D
However, and not to hijack your thread or anything, but.......(nice segue huh? :P)

Northwich Victoria Earn Sunderland Cup Tie! ;)

Maybe getting relegated last season was the best thing that could have happened to us after all! Big money day, even if we don't win it'll help pay for finishing the Victoria Stadium! It'd be nice if we could get a draw, and bring them back there too, we've not lost a game there yet! :scared:
Paul Brayson has scored 11 goals in the FA Cup already for us, and has become the first player ever to be voted Player Of The Round twice in the same year!
Also we're currently second (by 3 points) in Conference North, but have 3 games in hand on the leaders thanks to our FA Cup & FA trophy participation. 👍
Come on you Vics/Trickies/Greens!

Wednesday win for the first time in nearly 2 months!

And score for the first time in NINE games!

JEC
We'll see what you do at Turf Moor then, shall we?

Yes, we shall... :D

Thats put you in a good mood for the rest of the year, literally.

And that result puts Wednesday safe...

Vital game at 3rd-bottom Brighton - we were 7 points clear, but with 9 still to play for. We won 2-0, putting is 10 points ahead of Brighton but, more importantly, none of the clubs behind could possibly close to nearer than 6 points (with 6 remaining), relegating all three bottom clubs simultaneously and keeping Wednesday in the Championship.

That win also puts us just a point behind a clutch of other clubs, so we may yet finish above Derby, Hull, QPR, Leicester and Burnley... But as it stands we're a full 9 points clear of the top relegated team (Crewe Alexandra) and that's a pretty good way to finish the season.

Last games today - Wednesday, having staved off relegation with a 2-0 win at Brighton two games ago (following that up with a 0-0 draw with Champions, and Championship points record holders Reading), won 2-0 away to Derby and managed to leapfrog both Derby AND Queens Park Rangers into 19th place, 3 spots and 10 points clear of relegation.

Considering we effectively fluked promotion last year (winning the lpay-offs, having finished 6th), were dead last in September and spent most of the year with a League 1 squad full of injuries, it's not a bad finish.

Good to see you didn't get relegated. Look forward to the Swans beating you next season

(Fingers crossed we even get promoted first).
