- sort the laggy steering with the controller on PS3.
- sort the horrifically oversensitive steering in drifting. It's so difficult to drive strait after drifting a corner. I spend so much time lining myself up strait again so I can just accelerate again (again PS3 controller). I also hate how the driver counter steers on his own. LEAVE THAT UP TO ME!

Fix the steering LAG !! It is apparent on all devices, PC, PS3 & XBox with wheel, controller and keyboard. This has nothing to do with in game settings and cannot be fixed by it only slight improvements.
I have enjoyed the game so far and tolerated achieving Career 48% but until its fixed I will not even bother trying the "Modern A" series and above.
And why not include the Regional and World record car and Performance Index, you do it for our friends.

- Every time you buy a duplicate of a car whatever is done to one of them magically appears on the second.

Woah! Really? That is an insane bug :ouch:

EA fix the console crashes and the steering lag, it's so damn important, come on.... just do it!

When the more important stuff re. driveability is done:

- Less reflection of the dashboard on the windscreen. It's getting annoying. In real life the plane of focus is far ahead, not on the windscreen, and so the dashboard reflection is hardly noticeable. If the reflection is rendered in real time, just ditch it and save the cycles. On second thought, just ditch it anyway :)

- Increase drawing distance of the track. Sacrifice irrelevant trackside objects if needed. I drove some on Norschleife today and everything disappeared not very far ahead. It made a track like Nordschliefe very unfamiliar and not so fun to drive. It's racing, so you simply need to be able to look far ahead.

Stop the money stealing glitch how you level up and get no money.
Stop freezing
Stop laggy crashes online
get rid of that stupid online countdown timer and let us decide when we want to start
Let us quit an online race and return to the lobby and not exiting out of the whole game
let us chose how long we want an online time attack for not short-medium-long
Some form of drag track

Actually to make this easy just impliment gt5's online lobby system so you can tune and mod your setting while other people are driving.

Fix Autolog connection problems on PC

On Windows 7, I've not problem connecting Autolog with NFS: Hot Pursuit, but unable to connect with S2U.

On Windows XP, I can connect to Autolog with S2U, but get disconnected very quickly, have to reboot the game to re-connect.

Fix the money gain bug

All my earnings from Lv.19-20 have disappeared, the half million Lv.20 bonus is nowhere to be seen.

Fix hardware performance on PC

I've got more graphically intense games that can be run at Full HD without noticable FPS drops.

Add XBOX 360 Controller buttons display on PC

NFS: Hot Pursuit support this by default; come on SMS, don't wait for modders to kick your 🤬

Edit: More bugs experienced...

  1. Fix the Handling (posted for the millionth time), if anything, have some of the PC modders (who actually fixed the handling) help you work out what's good and what isn't (which won't happen).
  2. Add more objects/shapes & numbers in the livery maker system, and fix the camera angles and add a zoom in/out feature to make it easier to move the littler stickers to the right place.
  3. Add more driver profile levels, the game will end up being boring (at least for me) once i run out of levels to achieve (since i'll have everything unlocked).
  4. Steering delay (I use a DS3); It needs to go/be reduced/whatever, it needs to go.
  5. The minor freezing (hiccups, as i call it) while racing needs to be fixed.
  6. The photoshot system could be edited somewhat, the pics on autolog come out with jagged edges and the pictures too bright (for PS3 at least).
  7. There are some minor bugs i noticed (like the actual cockpit floating away randomly, which i noticed while visually editing my S2000CR) which i hope will be fixed.

Other than these minor problems, this game is marvelous :dopey:

Am I blind in missing where it tells you how far ahead/behind you are from the front of the pack? If not then this needs to be added too.

If they just make the cars a tiny bit less wobbly and increase the payout for quick races a bit, I will be playing this game until GT6:Prologue comes out 👍

More graphics scaling options.
Like just changing the LOD of the crowds without changing other parts of the game.
Option to remove the marbles that kick up from cars and bounce around the track.
Add numbers and letters to livery editor.

Has anyone had this issue?
I played a couple of 20 lap drift events on Hazyview 8, and the first time I played with one opponent and it was set to same class, so I was drifting against an R8, which was very odd. Anyway, the first time I raced it the guy got a score of about 2XXX, meaning that he averaged about 100 or so points per lap. Then I finished and won easily by a thousand or so points. But then I went and played again, with the same amount of laps and only changing the time of day to night time. Only this time, the guy only posted a score of 120. Which would have only been equivalent to one lap by the standards he set last race, even though the race distance remained unchanged at 20.
Very odd indeed. Then I went to London Millennium because I remembered that track too only to see that they had changed it. And the same thing happened, it was a 20 lap event in the dark and the guy had only posted a one lap score, instead of a 20 one.

Also, when I changed from day to night on Hazyview all of the bags and tires from around the out side of the track disappeared, but they were there on London.

Other things I would like too see added:
Bring back the colour wheel. I know photoshop but not to the point that I know the exact balance of hue/saturation/brightness to make the colour orange. Thats why they still have the colour wheel and why this game should have it. There isnt any colour in the paint menu.
The option to paint rims. We can paint everything else, why not wheels.
More driver levels, or at least balance the career progress with the level progress. I mean Im 12% done in the career and yet Im level 17, or 85% of the way through the levelling system?
Make the tuning options actual values, instead of relative ones. How much negative camber is 17?

Some other bugs I have found:

- I have finished 2nd and the results screen says I finished 5th
- I have finished first in time trial with verbal confirmation of that only to find an AI behind me then knocks me into 2nd
- Elimination event I have crashed and been restored at same time as time ran out to find my position listed as 4/3 and can continue to race

Software QA department?

I dream of improving cooperation with Nvidia 3D Vision. Now more people buy 3dtv and SHIFT 2 in 3d looks so ugly, that you can not play :nervous:. First Shift already looked much better.

There are no numbers? why? It's a racing game, race cars have numbers... If someone want to create his own racing livrery he want to add a mo\#@§ùç%ìng number to the car.. I don't get it. PD, SMS, nowdays developers are simply too weird for me.

There are a thousand things this game does brilliantly, and you pick one silly superficiality to complain about? Putting a number on the car? Really? Really?

-Fix the input lag
-Sort out the floating/sliding
-Fix the crashing(PC)
-Stop resetting my transmission to Automatic:mad:
-Stop reverting my car setups to default (Yes I am saving them)
-Fix FFB - sometimes FFB stops working, only has centering spring effect

Yep REALLY, because it was a very EASY task for them, they claimed about a brand new livrery editor, why on Earth forget about the numbers in a racing game where in real life you can't enter a FIA GT race without the numbers? I don't give a damn if you think it's insignificant. I know this doesn't ruin the game but it's unrespectful for all those fans who were waiting for a good livrery editor in a good racing game on PS3 expecially because it was very easy to do it. I already have other racing games, I want to buy something that give me more features of the titles I already own, you know?

Watch this car:
5333823.jpg

As you can see it's a plain matte black livrery with almost only a racing number plate. in FIA GT you can have no sponsor but they wont let you enter a race without a race number.

2 things I totally hate in the console world:

- Developers deliberately ignoring to add very obvious things like this
- Gamers trying to justify them everytime.

Although I'm not too concerned about the numbers at this stage (there are a lot of things that must be fixed before that), I agree that apologists are unhelpful. They should f'ing thank the "moaners" for any and all improvmenets made to games by way of patching.

Now onto more patch points:

- Physical units in the tuning screens. Toe in = 21... what?!
- Display top speed in each gear in the transmission settings screen.

Where am I justifying the fact that SMS did not implement numbers? I'm just stating that I think it's a silly triviality that's being presented as a huge flaw.

I know it's been mentioned before, but the Steering Lag on the Ps3 with the wheel they need to fix, I just done the race with the Exige Round Suzuka , and oh my god, i was all over the place, could not correct it one little bit. I was literally so relieved i finished and didn't have to do that race again.

So frustrating. :grumpy:

The physics are not too bad. Its not GT5 so we have to get over it. In fact IMHO, I think S2U has the truer physics. Cars don't stick to roads like glue. There is a limit to what you can push a car.

The only thing I'd wish for would be the lag as well. Its a 1/2 second off. For me, it would rank this game 9.5. Right now I give it a 9.0, still 1.5-2.0 points higher than what I give GT5.
