Shift 2 Unleashed PC Users

Hello, i want to buy Shift 2 for PC. I'm using G25 and want to know, how about input lag?

Ok, searched all over the place and the DLC does not work on the PC? I downloaded the game and DLC from Origin. DLC1 & 2 folders are on the PC, but no extra cars. The tracks, standing mile, and drag race are there but no cars. Well in searching the net I found somebody suggested deleting the DLC folders, then uninstall DLC, then reinstall. Well I deleted the folders so now I have no cars, and all the tracks are obviously gone to.

So I go to open Origin and uninstall the DLC. Well when you click uninstall on the DLC it brings up the Windows Uninstall Programs screen. I don't want to uninstall Origin!!!!!! Just the dam DLC. Why is this so freakin' complicated!!!! Anybody have any ideas?
 
Similar issue to the previous post above. Installed the PC version of Shift 2, downloaded from Amazon, also setup Origin account. The game works fine. Went on Origin & downloaded & installed the Legends pack, the content shows up in the DLC1 & DLC2 computer folder, but doesn't show up in the game. Tried using the serial number in the redeem codes section of the game, but shows up as used. I have seen similar post, but not a solution, any ideas.

Update: Issued fixed after following instruction from this post.

Hey guys! I've been thinking about picking this game up for the PC and was wandring about a few things. I know that the PS3 version is flawed by horrible input lag and poor support.
How is it for the PC version?
Did they take care of it?
How's the community aspect compared to say rFactor?
Are there any mods/addons to enhance the game?

PC version is the best of all. You can add Ferrari Cars, Legends Cars, Speed Hunter Cars, more unofficial patches fixing some issues with tire pressure and fixing much more other small bugs
 
Glad to read that! Is there a website/forum I should take a look at for all of this?
 
Lo peeps.

I've just acquired Shift 2 for my Pc although I've been on the Xbox version for quite a while now but can't find anyone mature enough to do some proper racing, they all seem to be smash em' & bash em' drivers...
So if anyone still plays please add me as my Pc friends list is completely empty & I plan on sharing my set-ups for my cars, the steering wheel I use & in-game setups......My Xbox live ID & my Origin ID is my user name :SmokinJoe347:
