Is it worth giving shift a second chance? I stopped playing it after a few days due to its terrible lag and undrivabilty whith my g25 but I find GT5 hasn't anything left to offer and I aint got an xbox.

Dude, there are several threads with that question here and they are all giving the same answer: Yes, bloody yes, despite all its faults. Search the wheel settings thread, set up your wheel, take a look at the tuning threads - cause unlike in GT5 you actually need to tune your car to make it a good drive and not just throw on some superstickymagictires - and then go out and have the racing time of your life. Be prepared to fall asleep while driving GT5 afterwards.

PS @ Steve: You crazy fool. You re half a minute faster than Bellof in his 917... Imagine that!

Tried giving shift another go but the steering is still a joke. Now I remember why I quit it after a few days. It's a shame because there is a great game there if only the steering was fixed.Oh well back to GT5.

I was the same when i first got the game, but if you give it time you will adapt to the steering and its great 👍👍 i went back on GT5 to run Spa, only lasted 15mins was so flat and very dull no life in the tracks

Yeah. So, umm. Like I don't think I need Steve on my autolog after watching that...wow. Thats like, quick! Is anyone ahead of you on these tracks Steve?

I can only think of 3 career races/tracks where somebody else than the steve is on top of my autolog. And none of those people is me. :ouch:

Go on cam be brave :)👍 Great combo Graham the apollo is so so good round Nord RWD Rule. Did have a few freezes tho but after tuning for the track a 5:55 was worth it, still a little more to go yet :D:tup:👍

Yes, I just love that car....even on the short tight tracks, ovals, Alpental, Brands Indy, etc.
I gear it down for pure acceleration then.

Sooo responsive. :)

I'm plucking up courage to go for it on Nords again. :nervous:

Fantastic !

Settings please !!!

PM them to me if you'd rather, and I'll keep them secret. You know I'm never going to rival those times.

Currently i'm completly sucked in Fallout New Vegas world and I don't have time to do any proper settings for this car. So i can't give you any.

And if i had it, then it would be hidden deep in underground Vault. Locked somewere in electronicly protected safe. Guarded by two super mutants armed with weapons from another dimention ;)

Ill work on better setting during this weekend. Because currently I'm unable to go under 5:54 so SPA setting is pretty much ussles here.

I did 1:54, and my car is still isn't ready for hot lap 👎 Ill do some work during this weekend. 👍
