This is a Breaking News Story! There is an active shooting situation in Lafayette, LA's movie theater, echoing memories of Auora, CO shooting. According to police, there were 6 people who were escorted out by stretchers that are injured, and the gunman is dead.

No, they should just arm everybody. Give them away. Because if everybody has a gun, nobody will be shot, because anyone who would shoot will now be afraid of bring shot themselves. And everybody wins. Sure, there will be a few preventable deaths, but really, they brought it on themselves because they weren't carrying a gun. Because my rights are more important than your life.

It's true, although all caps have sort of become the standard internet style for shouting, leaving exclamation marks to be read as excitement.

You're not wrong, it's just a matter of how it will sound in most people's heads as they read it.
