Why just EU or US events? There's the Tokyo Auto Salon too, January 15 - 17.

I just figured the US/EU release date would come from a show in one of those two locations. I could be wrong though, I have certainly been wrong before and most definately will be wrong again.

The next EU event is European Motor Show at Belgium, and in USA, Detroit Motor Show

Man I hope they have something at NAIAS in Detroit. I doubt it'll be anything monumental, if anything at all, but if for whatever reason there is something there, I'd be sure to take some vids and pics for everyone because I'm going to the show for sure.

Ah gotcha, didn't see you were responding to a question about date. More likely we'll only get a JP date at the Auto Salon (if at all), but hopefully more features revealed.

So I suppose Kazunori will be in Belgium between jan 11-13 for the European Motor Show Brussels then fly back home.

Kaz-stalkers rejoice! ;)

It seems GT is a supporting organisation for TAS, so hopefully some goodies. Does anyone know of any other shows in Japan before the end of March?

N.B. (Look on page 3)

Also, everyone's favourite Super Leggera won last year's GT Award at TAS:

Freakin' cool that they have the Ring as a playable circuit. It also confirms the Gallardo V. Balboni!

BTW the Amuse Ericsson Nissan 380RS Superleggera is a stupidly long name. Not to mention that it's weird that they used a Lambo term...

"Superleggera" isnt a Lambo term...Superleggera is an automobile construction technology used in Italy from the middle of the 20th century. The name means "super light" in Italian. Lambo, and some other manufacturers have used the term.

The next major motor event show is the Detroit Auto Show. Jan 16-24.
Maybe Kaz will speak or show something and then travel to Brussels.

Already covered, mate. ;)

Potentially new demo for GT5??? :-)

EDIT: If you look at the 2nd to last photo on the gallery, those trees...

thats off a trailer (the very end), a xanavi GTR is just about to pop up right in front of the camera and make an AWESOME noise! ! ! ! !

Mmmmmmmm. I want to drive that car so bad. Plus I have to beat Tsuchiya's lap time at Tsukuba in the real car. (1:03.888)

Haha I watched that today again. :)

The Amuse 380 Super Leggera is a beast, and will no doubt go down as a Japanese classic seeing as it was Tanabe san's last ever car.
Also, have you seen the Amuse 370Z? Even as a post-Tanabe car, that thing looks great, I hope it's in the game too!

Is this the Amuse 370z you speak of?

If so, then I have seen it now and it is very sexy. I hear the exhaust Amuse makes for the 370z adds like 21hp and reduces the weight of the exhaust by 19lbs. Good stuff. 👍

hell yes!!!!!!! the 458 is gonna be in the game!!!!!!!!! and if that Gallardo edition is in so will the Reventon and the LP670-4 Murciealage. I hope the Lexus LFA is in too. I really hope that Porsche's in mainly for the Carrera GT, and the 962. Hopefully they at least get the Dauer 962 road car. I also hope to see the Le Mans race car I saw in the toyota GT one and Nissan R390 GT1 era too but I don't care about the rest because the Ruf's look similar enough. the 911 turbo's cool but the Ruf's look similar enough to me. They really need the Carrera GT tho, I think that's one of the most beautiful cars ever made

We know. Where have you been the last few months?

Way to speculate there.

Looks like there are more cars to be added to the master car list. So far I see:

Calsonic GT-R '08

Denso Sard SC430 '07

Petronas Tom's SC430 '08

Wish I could figure out what the other three were in front of the YMS Yellow Hat Supra.

Seems as the AI gets better, the human drivers get worse

Me too, I tried really hard after watching it, it's impossible. If I had to guess going by shape and colour, I'd guess (closest to YMS Supra first) Castrol Supra, Loctite NSX, and Motul Z.

Since I'm a member of that site, I'll try downoading the video and putting it on my PS3 and maybe I can try figuring it out from there. You might be right about Castrol Supra though as it does seem to have the same colors.
