Should I play through Gran Turismo 2?

Thanks for all the opinions, sorry that i wasnt responding havent been online much because it was midterm season in college. To this day it seems GT2 still has a very large fanbase, i also received a pm from jeffgoddin saying he hosts events for gt2 where members post their lap times and setups and compare. Ill be sure to experience it this weekend 👍

I agree with the pro GT2 responses. It's worthy of your playtime. In all honesty, I prefer GTs from 3 on up for their excellent wheel support, but even with the DS2, of which I am not a fan, GT2 is very fun.

As for old outdated graphics, I spent the last few weeks playing GT5, looking at all the jaggies on the standard cars, wondering why the bother with HDMI and HDTV, that when I go back to GT2 with its jag fest, I think it isn't all that bad after all.

At least GT5 doesn't have pop-up scenery, pop-up chicanes (just when you've settled your racing line, too), and cars which merge into one another.
