It seems the PS1-style case isn't actually available to purchase

From what I've read, that was only made available to Sony employees which is a shame because I would've gladly thrown some more money at them to have a special edition like that.

Apparently I don't have a network jack (or a phone jack using in Cat5 like I do in other rooms in the house) in my bedroom so I'm going to give these a try to connect the TiVo and Blue-Ray player.

As my son's room also doesn't have a network jack, this will be a good trial for buying additional units to expand as necessary.

I was debating on whether to wait for the XBox One X to use for my UHD 4k Blu ray player, or buy one now. My internet isn't the best, so I it's a hit and a miss with 4k streaming for me.

I was going to wait but, the television I just bought dropped $200 dollars in price, And Best Buy covers price drops for 2 weeks after the purchase. That's all the persuading I needed to go ahead and get this:

On a side note, in about 4 months or so I'll be able to give someone a great deal on a Sony UBP-X800 UHD 4k Blu Ray player.

Too nervous to wear my Daytona whilst sailing, so picked this G-Shock up... it's massive, but reasonably comfortable on 1st wear... and has a few functions that will likely never get used (compass/tides/temperature)...but at least I won't be terrified of losing it overboard during a sail change in the middle of the night!

Those G-shock watches are awesome. I bought a g-shock mudman watch last year for work, because of the dirt, dust, and mud. It's held up nicely, I just run it under the sink and use an old toothbrush to clean it when it gets filthy.

Since the missus is a bit of the floaty type, must be a side effect of the yoga and stuff, and I overheard her discussing the "healing powers" of different types of gems and rocks, I bought her these stones, especially sorted for the High sensitive type.

Aquamarine, for relaxation*, communication*, focus* and intuition*.
Labradorite, for protection*, inner strength* and intuition*.
Tourmarline, for grounding and balancing spiritual energy* and protection from negative outside influences*.

*It's all cowpoo, but hey, if it has a placebo effect, it's good enough.

There isn't a good place to post this but I definitely wanted to share it so here's as good a place as any, I guess.

While I was on vacation, a friend with a CNC router dropped this coaster off at my desk.
