Pulled the trigger on these in the hopes they arrive before a trip next week. Couldn't find any in person (in any colour) to try on, so hopefully don't have to return them...

Tagging @TB and @Azuremen — will report back on how they are!

If you can't return them, perhaps a good ol' shoey would be the order of the day?

(Translates to "[a] view to something spectacular".)
Tickets to a Bridge-walk, good thing I’m not afraid of heights.

Secondly and what I’m most excited about;

In case the picture doesn’t make sense, an A2 license (European spec for "middle sized motorcycle up to 35 kW"). I’m starting on it on June 4th. Hopefully once I get a bike I’ll be able to look somewhat as cool as @Carlos. :D
And no, that’s not a picture of my license, since I only have AM and B license currently, plus I’m not that old yet.

Congrats!! :D More powaahh!!

I can't remember the last time I saw a mini DVD  . This combo should help me access some settings in my car and re-personalize them.

Gioteck PS4 Control thumb grips, So far they seem to work pretty well, I wasn't expecting them to make the least bit of difference maybe its placebo but they do seem to work. Those but in nicer more expensive looking packaging.

Also after picking up a sweet Belkin braided cable a few weeks ago I realized as nice as it is I really needed two USB's given that one powers my 4tb HDD, So today I also got a Venom Dual charge and play USB cable, and so far so good, Decent length too 👍

Too much house and garden stuff that I can’t be bothered to find pictures or even remember what it all was. Lots of trees. I remember buying lots of trees.

I haven’t been buying trees but certainly a lot of house stuff. It’s a painful process as someone who wants to buy records and HiFi stuff. Seeing those £££’s disappear into couches and dining tables etc.

I get the same feeling. Every time I buy something I’m thinking “hey, I could have bought a new set of bike tyres or kit”.

1994 JTCC BMW Team Schnitzer (might be team issue, not sure)

Very difficult to say I think. Looks about right based on contemporary memorabilia, though not exact...

I have a late 90's Schnitzer sew-on which looks very similar, though to be honest I'm not sure how 'genuine' that was.

I just bought myself 1/3 of this for £50.

Currently there is no way to buy this or any other Studio Ghibli Blu-ray (or even DVD) box-set without going through eBay or some other reseller site, so I've elected to buy the movies individually. I'm not much of a box-set person anyway, and 'Bonus Discs' and extras don't appeal to me much, hence I'd be quite happy with the movies on their own. Fortunately, Amazon are currently doing 2 for £25 on Studio Ghibli Blu-rays, plus free delivery - so I've got these four on the way...

I've already got Laputa: Castle In The Sky on my Freeview box, but it is a must-have movie - I've also already got Howl's Moving Castle (on my digibox) and Spirited Away (on DVD) but will be picking up those Blu-rays next.

Nice spec @Beeblebrox237. I've always had a soft spot for that generation. The facelift really improved the looks IMO.
Thanks! It's a Zetec Climate which is one of the higher level specs you can get with the 1.25 engine. It's got about all the options you could fit to it, as well. 16" wheels, electric folding mirrors, auto lights, auto wipers, stereo with aux input and CD player, leather wrapped wheel, heated windscreen, tinted rear windows, air conditioning, and plenty else which I'm sure a Ford salesman from 2007 would be able to bore you with. Needless to say I'm somewhat amazed at how feature-rich it is for a cheap secondhand car. I definitely agree about the facelift; the round lights just look right and the taillamps look a lot more modern to my eye.

You said it wasn't worth getting a new car no more than 2 weeks ago.
I have no recollection of that, but I was quite drunk. To be honest, I think I'd talked myself into that position, since it was actually my father who prompted my search for a car. Given that I should be finishing uni shortly and will need a car to move/go to job interviews/commute (if said interviews turn out well), etc. he decided to give me some money for a car. I must admit I was surprised, my dad is usually very difficult to convince to fund my purchase of anything, so when he told me I should start looking for a car a week after I asked him "is it worth me getting a car at some point?" I was taken by surprise. He told me in a really casual way, too, so I think he'd assumed I'd already been looking, which wasn't the case.

The useful thing (if it's you) or really frustrating thing (if it's some thieving scumbag) about these is that all the bodywork forward of the cabin unbolts. You can remove the bumper, headlights, radiator, wings and bonnet in about 45 minutes with nothing more than a few spanners and screwdrivers, so if you prang it, replacing panels is straightforward.

That's handy to know, thanks for the tip!

Also, better photos:

There's a sizeable dent in the boot which you can see here, along with a small dent near the fuel filler cap and another on the other rear wing. I would consider replacing the bootlid but I'm not sure it's worth the effort. I think I'll just take a leaf from Land Rover's book say it's a quirky asymmetric styling feature. :P
