Welp. Bought a 2009 Chevrolet LTZ Impala. 85k, 3.9L V6, insurance isn't too expensive. Not a serious gas hog. Previous own bought it new and is a life long family friend, all problems it ever had went to the dealer.

Now to start saving money again. Glad I still live with my parents. :)

Now to stalk plane tickets.
Pulled the trigger on flights tonight as they finally dropped to a decent price and weren't absolutely abysmal times. Still not overly pleased with leaving at 5am but at least I don't have to drive to MSP.

And since the flight is booked, I moved on to renting the car. For some unknown reason an XTS is $5 less than a Versa so since I've never driven a Cadillac for more than 45 seconds at a time, it was the obvious choice. Unless there's an interesting option for the "or similar" on the lot.

85k for a 10 y.o. car? I guess you mean 85k miles?

So, picked up 2 e-tickets for me and @magdeleyna to see Predator at the cinema as we missed the OG release :D

Also bagged a new BD of “Flight Of The Navigator” which is from a new 4K scan, so hopefully pretty good.

And last I picked up 3 bottles of Oud. The larger 6ml (right) is a dark Oud with Patchuli, the (middle) is a 6ml which has a lot of Rose in it so a little more feminine in smell and not really for a 6’.2” bloke ;) and the small 3ml bottle is a pure Cambodian Oud oil which is very pure and if you’ve never smelt it before is a love it or hate it smell. For me I love it.

Rather disappointed with it actually. Battery life is pants, no notification light (really!), speaker is not loud enough for my taste to name a few...

That kind of sucks, my 3 (not the A) ticks all the boxes for me.

Suppose I should make an appearance somewhere other than the daily race thread. Considering I'm in love these things, this is a good way to start.

New boots (the brown one) Sendra may very well be my new favourite boot brand. Black boot behind is a Red Wing 2944 Harvester.

Thought I'd give this a try from Wal-Mart.

No, no, no, nooooo. Don't start shaving. You don't know what you are getting yourself into. It will grow back, you know. It is a never ending cycle and you don't want that. I made this mistake and I'm still shaving. :ouch:

Don't say I didn't warn you.

:D

I've been shaving for... five years already.

I also ordered these at the same time as the watch I just picked up:

I used them this morning while mowing and was impressed by their ability to stay in place.

Bunch of random purchases, mostly hobby items:
A stepped drill bit:

Replacement parts for a couple 1/18 models and a damaged 1/64 I got for cheap:

And a couple 1/18's from Bburago and AUTOart:
