That thing runs $70 - I bought a simple singular USB adapter. If there's one thing I don't like about Apple is that their products are so pricey. How is the for you in the workplace? I'll be using it for design work.My dev machine for work is a Macbook. First thing I bought for it was this megadongle:

You'll definitely want a good dongle. The upside is that you get to say dongle.
Yeah it wasn't cheap, but the dongle my employer provided only had a single HDMI output on it and just a couple USB ports otherwise. I keep that one in my travel backpack. Still cheaper than what Apple would charge for a similarly equipped dongle though. That thing runs $70 - I bought a simple singular USB adapter. I went back and forth for a long time before deciding to buy a MX Master 3. I regret not doing it earlier. It is a great production mouse. Instead of the MX Keys, I bought a K380 around the same time as the MX Master 3. I prefer the smaller layout of the K380; the 60% layout is more comfortable. I also picked up a Microsoft Wireless Number Pad in case I really needed a ten key; I expected to use it much more than I have. Also, I grabbed Logitech MX Keys and MX Master 3 keyboard and mouse for use at my desk. Very nice as bluetooth peripherals go.
Yeah, this mouse really is exceptional for productivity. The shape is perfect for me and kind of splits the difference between mice that are too flat and a full vertical ergonomic mouse with the angle it keeps your hand. The logitech software can do some really neat stuff if you are connected to multiple computers, and the sensor in this thing can track like a champ on ANY surface.I went back and forth for a long time before deciding to buy a MX Master 3. You mean the Google One plan, which is storage shared across Google Photos, Drive and Gmail?100GB of storage for Google apps. Yearly price is dirt cheap and it was easier than downloading everything to a hard drive and wiping the cloud to make space.
Yeah. That’s it.You mean the Google One plan, which is storage shared across Google Photos, Drive and Gmail?
If so, I think I might need to do the same. Since photos and videos uploaded to Photos recently started counting towards storage, I've been struggling with space as well.
The advantage of using Photos for me is that it is then so easy to search for things (by time, location, color, brand, etc.). It works really well in that regard. It has saved my ass a couple of times.Google Drive is handy for a lot of stuff and I live on Google Apps at the moment, but as a back up solution for photos it'd need to be the 2TB plan, which at £79.99 a year makes less sense compared to HDD's. I pay for Flickr Pro which is unlimited space, so I can use that as off-site back up also, but haven't got round to it, it tends to just get a tiny fraction of the better(ish) stuff.
I also seem to recall a colleague having a problem with Google Photos resizing or compressing images that were supposed to be uploaded to Google Drive... but that could have been user error.
Unlimited at work is useful, however, I found that anything created on a work account, once deactivated, isn’t downloadable, even when shared with full edit permissions. I found this out the hard way when I was unable to get certain personal project folders that had been created on the work account and was required to sign in to a deactivated account. My personal Google Drive usage:

Unlimited is kind of nice. Glad I'm not paying for it, though!

I considered getting the Miata once, until I tested it at the car dealership and realized I don't even fit in the car! Which really sucks, I really liked it, especially how low it is.View attachment 1075572
Bought the Miata (and the Subi) a one way trip to upstate NY.
My wife considered on once… until we went to Mazda and got the price… for which we could have had an M3 Competition. Both were beyond our reasonable budget.I considered getting the Miata once, until I tested it at the car dealership and realized I don't even fit in the car!
