Guitar_Hero_World_Tour.jpg

I bought Guitar Hero World Tour for Playstation 3 yesterday. It has some cool features new to the Guitar Hero series, such as a touch sensitive pad on the lower part of the neck to play notes, the ability to create your own songs and the addition of an optional drum kit and microphone.

I bought the single guitar pack, because I figured the drums and microphone wouldn't get much use. In my opinion the sound track isn't quite as good as Guitar Hero III, but there's still some great tracks in there. Hopefully later there will be some good songs to download. Another downside is my sister bugging me all time asking to play!

I've gone to the same Barnes & Noble for eight years and I only just found out they have a manga section. It also happens to be quite large.

Brought yesterday, came with an exclusive Fenchurch shirt! :) I haven't put the game down yet.

£18 from Play.com.

They're exactly what you'd expect from a £18 pair of wireless headphones which is exactly what I expected. I get a signal at the kitchen sink when I'm doing my never ending pile of dishes and through most of the kitchen when I'm cooking for my never ending need for food. Abit of radio fuzz on them mostly drowned out, bass (bass guitar especially) sounds comical and they don't fit all too well, but the rechargeable batery is handy and the dock helps.

lol, err... I'm not quite sure how. Apparently my Aunt gets a free box for every three boxes she purchases or something. And she needs the boxes for her job... BAH, I dunno... I'm just going to eat them. I'll probably die of Snicker poisoning.

After my trip to MPH08 this year, I've come back with a couple of things.

How does it handle? I've heard bad things, even about the 'real' versions. I'm probably just going to rent this (I'm stuck with PS2 as well).

to me, all I have to say is barely, very little impressive. I think it sucks only for the ps2 but i can tell the driffences with the other consels and its not that bad but not that great iether. THe reason I bought it erly is that so that you guys wont have to waste money on something boring.

I would have to say "atleast rent it".

I would give it a 7.5 out of 10 because you cant play online with the ps2 version. if i could play it online i'll give it a 8.0

Well how does compare to say....... ProStreet? :dopey: Is the hadling better or worse? Do they have drift mode in that game? What cars do you get to start with? What other "interesting" things are there on the game?

Actually, Blackberries are drupelets.

Anyway, I ordered some New Balance MW901s because they were on sale.

They're not too bad. The toebox is really tall though... that's what makes them look goofy without long pants.

If there was a notch between the heel and the forefoot like on most shoes (http://img.alibaba.com/photo/50342780/Men_s_Dress_Shoes.jpg), it would look better.

I remember that for the Super Nintendo (?); my in-laws had it...A really fun 2-player game. My brother and I stayed with them during a hurricane (we never lost power), and played that all evening and night long.

Yeaaaaah boyee!

I never wear my Doc Martens with anything other than long pants, otherwise you look like a kid from 1950's TV shows.

Pupik, have you seen any place where gas is below two bucks?

No, not in the Broward/Palm Beach area. I have to use 89-93 for the Lexus, but I've noticed that mid-grade and high-test is now a wider gulf from Regular, for some reason. You really have to hunt around, which is weird; even when gas hit a peak of $4.50 or so, it was uniform from station to station. But now there's a lot more difference from 87 to 89 to 93, as much as a 40-cent/gallon difference from place to place...

Oh, and I treated myself to...

$15 new at BJ's: Even if I only play it 4-5 times (hopefully more), I've wanted it for over a year, and could never find it for less than $40 (when you rarely play anymore, you have to factor these things in). It was also the last one left, so I didn't think twice.

DrillMaster 100-piece "Security" Bit Set, because I like to tinker with things. There's oddball bits I've never seen before. It was at Harbor Freight Tools; and the best part was that it was marked was 11.95 on the rack, but the register pulled it up as $7.95, so that's always a bonus.

You're using them for like work and semi-formals, yeah?

Bingo.

Oh and, Pupik, wouldn't you know that just because gas prices have fallen, the Chevron nearest me has decided to close up for renovations and new tanks? Ain't that a B. I hope they install a diesel pump.
