It is a cd from the band Siddharta.
Never heard of it? It's from Slovenia so I wouldn't be surprised.

And the reason, for it being so long is that it's a book, with illustrations and lyrics for every song. The cd is strapped on the first page.

I can't show most of my latest purchases as they are already wrapped. Although while shopping for others I did pick up something for myself.

7 movies and a Christmas CD for $30 isn't bad.
👍 I bought that a couple of years ago and volume 2 last year. I no longer have to worry about when a Christmas special will be on if I or someone in my family wants to watch it.

For work. A little bit overkill, but I wanted something that's insulated, waterproof, and long-wearing. I can switch back to runners/etc in the summer, but it's just too cold here in the winter to wear normal shoes outside in a wet environment.

A bit on the heavy side, but they were the most comfortable boot in the store, and would probably work well for occasional motorbike duty and hiking.

Being a CAT boot, it cost a little more than I intended to spend, but a little money now to have good footwear for the next couple years should be worth it.

I think I have now ascended (or decended) onto a whole new level of geekdom...

Actually, they're fairly tasteful for that kind of stuff, especially the insoles and the case. It does seem like an unlikely tie-in though, a bit like Duke Nukem Cheetos or a Tomb Raider Land Rover :odd:

WooHoo! New shoes finally. My Chameleon II's fell apart and I've been holding them together with a combination of epoxy and various LocTite formulas for a couple months now. Went to Moosejaw this afternoon and picked these dudes up, Merrell Chameleon3 Stretch's.

How much? And are they very supportive at all? I go hiking a fair amount at home and I'm thinking of getting something a little more shoe-like to replace my current boots.

$100 at Moosejaw. So far I really like them although I haven't done any hiking since it's been cold and what not. For wearing around all day though they are excellent and feel just like the Chameleon II's I had...just more waterproof. They were really good in the snow and ice this morning too.

Winter attack gear!

  • The North Face Foreverlong II zip up, fleece line hoodie. Awesomely warm.
  • Arc'Teryx Atom LT softshell.
  • Arc'Teryx Classic Beanie.
  • Swedish (or Switzerland maybe) Military surplus wool sweater, I had a similar one that I got last year but I couldn't find it.
  • The North Face long sleeve crew shirt in bittersweet brown.

Good wheel 👍 Been using it for GTR2 and iRacing for a good while and still feels like new.

Picture is pretty good, but it will need some tuning to get the most out of it. Despite it being the biggest TV we have ever purchased, it still doesn't seem big enough to fill up the wall of the loungeroom. A projector was considered but that would necessitate the conversion of the loungeroom to a black-walled cinema, which just wouldn't be in the right position of the house (underground cinemas are the way to go).

Great camera, its what i use for my incar videos at trackdays. It's already had a
hard life

I took a couple outdoor shots today (seriously, two shots, as that's all it holds...) and was pretty impressed with the clarity of the trees at full zoom. A little bummed that the stock battery does not have the infoLithium feature, so no battery life countdown.

Because there are always more important things I could spend my money on. Screw it, I seen it and thought it was a good deal so I bought it. 239.99+tax at best buy. So so so much better than my DFP.
