I wouldn't worry about it, TB. Its what and how you take it, not what with. I'm sure you'll love the DSLR, and I look forward to seeing stuff from you in the photography section. đź‘Ť

Someone in my uni class uses a Nikon D3, and I can honestly say that I prefer the stuff I shoot with my bottom end D60.

And then on top of that, when I (very) occasionally win the automotive comps, some of the gear other contestants shoot with is far superior. Like Syntax Error for e.g. :D

You don't need "for" before "e.g." Makes it redundant. ;)

Anyway, I agree. There's this guy on flickr named Mark Gibson. The stuff he did with a Nikon D40 is damn impressive. It's hard to tell a difference between his D700 and D40.

Some of this, along with further groceries bought at the not very local smelly Asian market.

Grand Prix 4 ($4 - brand new :))
Best of Havoc 2 DVD ($15)
WRC Crashes DVD ($12)
Grand Prix 2009 - The Official ITV Guide ($6): An interesting book as Brawn GP didn't exist at the time of writing and Takuma Sato is in the Toro Rosso team profile instead of Sebastian Bourdais.
Concept Cars and Prototypes book ($15)

What is it you are really trying to say here? :grumpy:

That I'm all the more chuffed when I am up against people of your experience and gear in the polls and win. :P

Just poking fun, those victories were all well deserved. Anyways, someone smart once said "What stands between you and greatness sits between your ears, not in your camera bag".

Hercules DJ Console. Bought it for less than a third retail from a friend (new, too, since he was accidentally shipped the mac version. I have a mac. He doesn't). Used it for a party a week ago, god it's good.

I'm looking forward to hearing your experiences with the device. :)

I can quit anytime I want when my wife says so!

That and I kinda promised her that I wouldn't need anything else for a while. Want, on the other hand... :scared:
For that amount, you can get a real rocket launcher.

But congrats on the 50mm f/1.8, can't beat the value-for-money ratio on that one. đź‘Ť

the antenna provided is rubbish on those kinds of tuners. What you want is either
a. to plug it into the antenna on your roof
b. get yourself some rabbit ears (those cheap indoor antennas that are in a V shape. You stretch it out and have it completely horizontal. If you know the location of the broadcast antenna you want to point the rabbit ears perpendicular to that location (ideally near a window too)) They surprisingly are the best for picking up digitial signal.

I bought about a month ago, just arrived today. Spain national football jersey, along with the #8 - Xavi. ¡Viva España! it has the official tag of the FIFA World Cup 2010 on it. I'm ready as a fan.

Front: The junk around the jersey isn't new, I'm just not good at keeping my laptop area organized (half gone teriyaki meat, empty soda cans, some unopened, earphones, old bus schedules )

It comes with a Coax adapter so if the signal isnt strong enough I can plug it into my bunny ears or the roof.
