I'm planning on buying some new lock-on grips for my bike as well because the ones that came with it just don't cut the mustard anymore!

Lock-On's are one of the best investments you can get for a bike, there is nothing worse than grips that twist round as you ride.

I have some Lock-ons on my old bike but they are worn and are "Locked on"
I'm having a look at the DMR 2009 Locdd grips but I dunno what colour.
I have ox-blood red pedals which I may replace and the general "accesories" on my bike are white (white forks/rims ).
The frame is kinda silvery grey colour and theres some pics of it in the "Post your bike thread".
I know the white ones are a kind of no-brainer but I like to be different...

Edit: just found some lime green V8s that I wouldn't mind owning... So the green grips would match. Would that look good witht he white forks?

As if I didn't already spend far too much time playing Fallout 3, I picked this up last night.

Nah, for $18K I have leather, a great 200W Bose system, power seat, automatic windows all around, heated seats, keyless entry and more. the 270hp/280ftlb puts it over the top.

I love driving it hard... it handles it well. Goes straight as an arrow under hard acceleration. The steering is heavy, but precise. You have to really want to point the steering wheel to where you want to go. The clutch is temperamental and has a really high engagement point, so it takes a while to get used to, but when you get it right, its great.

$18k? That's what my friend paid for his in the summer of 2008.
I do agree about the clutch though. Even after we put in a new one, same thing. Strangely the engagement never went down as the clutch wore out.
