This sticker is dangerous and inconvinient, but I DO love fig newtons

I know this was a long time ago but I forgot to check back and now after seeing that I actually want that sword rather badly, how much does it cost and where from may I ask?

EDIT: This was the sword:

- Awesome sword -

It's $21.99 where I got my Master Sword from, it doesn't appear that they offer International shipping though. Look Here and take note to the name of the sword; I'd start with "Timber Wolf Ninja Tech Sword". I'll be placing the order for mine sometime next week or thereabouts. 👍

As for my recent purchase(s)....

So far I've only brought Super Mario Bros. 3 from the Wii Store.

You bought forty-eight 48 packs of Fig Newtons?

Talk about having the munchies...

Crazy thrift store purchases ahoy!

Obviously not that one. That one wouldn't work. It did come with everything, though.

Throw some controllers across the room!

I was blown away when I saw this. The one I got needs a new case (whoever thought up Sega CD/early PSX cases was an idiot), but otherwise everything is there.

The whole lot for $15. Popful Mail alone very easily shoots up to 5-6 times that by itself (of course, the other two are worth like 5 bucks together at most, so whatevs). Is it any wonder why I never have any money?

T-12, I must ask... what is the point of this:

? Kind of defeats the whole point of a Wii doesn't it? :odd:

Virtual console games work better with it, or in the case you don't want to look like an idiot waving a piece of plastic around.

Pretty much what they said.

Although I'm curious, what made you think the Classic Pro defeats the purpose of having a Wii?

Sniped one of these in a CGC 9.8 on eBay tonight, just need #3 for the 'trilogy' if there was such a thing (they just released issue 75 for the San Diego Comicon):

Ooh, Tony Moore is awesome. He drew MC Frontalot's first album cover.

What makes the Wii different from the 360/PS3 etc is the fact its main form of control is via motion, not a traditional gamepad. In my eyes, hooking up a conventional gamepad to a Wii is removing what makes the system unique - you know, the whole waving your arms around like a loony with nunchucks idea.

It just strikes me as a bit unusual, is all... if I had a natively motion-sensitive console, that's how I'd operate it - by waving my arms around in pinwheels while looking like a tit. To each their own though! :)

Oh, I see what you're getting at now.

The Classic Pro is only for Virtual Console games though. That, the GC controller, and for some the Wiimote. Trust me, turning the Wiimote 90-degrees is weird because you're just holding a rectangle with buttons on it. :P

Bought a suit. It's slightly too big for me, but that means I'll be able to wear it longer. I picked it up, pants and all, at the Goodwill for 16 dollars. it's pretty nice, too.

No, it means you'll look like a fool in a suit that's too big. You saved money by going to goodwill. Now go see a tailor.

It's not like I actually go places that require a suit. Plus, the suit is brand new.

And my mom, who at the very least has no problems in telling me how I look, says it fits nicely. I'll take that as "It'll fit nicely in a year or two."

And yeah, I saved money. 16 versus 160 for the coat alone.

I would agree with that. I had a boss that had a suit that was slightly too big for him. Problem was, he was a short guy. Which just made him look even shorter and kinda made people overlook him. Everytime I saw him, I always thought: "You gotta see a tailor, man! It doesn't fit! Makes you look like a right idiot!". Strange thing was, he was being paid big bucks for his job.

And he was too cheap to get it sorted out. I don't think he was able to easily find jobs either, with that suit that looked too big for him....

It's not that I'm too cheap, it's that I literally do not have the money for a tailoring job.

And I'm serious about the slightly, it's about a half inch too big.

You don't have like 20 bucks to get it to fit you? Just please tell me the sleeves and pants are right. Cuffs at the bottom I hope. Half an inch in the chest shouldn't be a big deal though... didn't know it was that small of difference.

Seriously, he is like 15 years old. I don't really think a suit that is slightly big is gonna be an issue in the whole scheme of things.
He got a bargain, he is a growing boy and I am sure it will fit him fine in a little while.

It's not as bad as the shorts I got in Primary 1 (1st year of small people school) that did me up until Primary 6...

Yeah, I didn't realize he was 15 and that it was only a half inch.

Like an NES controller? lol

The way I made it sound, yes. :P

Otherwise, no. The NES controller isn't as long and thin as the Wiimote, so it's just awkward to use when playing any classic game that supports it. Also, worth correcting...that should say 90-degrees, not 180...you'd just be holding the thing upside down then.
