Best Buy had some Blu Rays on sale so I picked up RocknRolla, House of Flying Daggers, and
The Forbidden Kingdom for $35 total.

Blu-Ray movies are expensive, unless you can wait for them to go on sale. All the movies I have on Blu-Ray were bought for $20 or less. (each) Most of them around $15. Just have to watch out for the sales. 👍

I just won my first eBay auction. Jumped out of the shower after my phone chimed and sniped a textbook for 20 bucks with 5 seconds left. Thank god for the eBay iPhone app!

eBay'ing while in a towel 👍.

More like eBaying with shampoo in my hair and having to mop up the bathroom floor later.

Have heard good things about Oblivion, and for only US$8.49 I just *had* to buy it  Of course, it also helps that my internet cap resets tonight but my speed's already been reset (= "free" full-speed internet for the day, choice!), because had it not I wouldn't have considered buying it as it's a 5GB+ download :dopey:

My first place. Yes, it's a studio but it's $400 a month with free cable and most utilities paid except for electric. Finally breaking free of the parents.

@ Eric: Nice shirt! Gonna have to get me one of those...

Jeebus, I always forget how expensive California is (or at least the parts of California people actually live in). Here a studio will easily run you $1400.

Awesome. Your first place is always a great experience. I'd also kill for 400 a month.

My first apartment was 3 bedrooms with an attached 2 stall garage and ran $475. Granted that was 11 years ago... and was mere feet away from the railroad tracks.

Congrats on the new found freedom, R1600Turbo.

Yeah, 400 bucks is hard to beat. Well, I did manage to find a place for a measly $100, but being the nice guy I am i've been paying $150. :sly:

It's amazing how much having cheap rent helps one save. I make $8.75 a hour, and I'd say I have a spare $100-$125 a week. About the only thing I spend money on that's not junk food or bills is gas, lots and lots of unnecessary gas, so today I treated myself.

Too big? It's 420 x 420, I had to.

Yeah, any kind of condo around here is ridiculous. Thank god my monthly is on an 80s price.

New battery and strap for my Nixon Neutron.

montre-nixon-the-neutron7.jpg

Original leather strap made my wrist all sweaty in summer and it stunk after a while so I stopped wearing it.

Now I've got this metal strap on a love being able to use my watch again.

great album. haven't listened to the black keys for a long time myself, but that was always my favorite by them. they play a great live show too, i caught them playing for free at the pittsburgh arts fest last summer.

Now working the 'dark' side as well:

It was cheap and I'm in an easily swayed mood.

Scaff
Hopefully you are having a great time with the 360. Especially Forza 3. If you enjoy Halo ODST, you should pick up Halo 3 sometime. It has a much better co-op campaign than ODST. 👍

Indeed, can't wait till I start my new job and get rent and food paid for me for two years and have a decent amount of pay and overtime on top of that, along with the other job, which is hilarious considering how skint I am now to thinking I'll be bringing in close to £1,000 completely disposable income (barring an ickle bit for the taxman) in a month or two.

Oh how I loathe skintedness. :( Especially as it'll stop me buying a car when I pass my test.

Skagen-331XLSL1-Watch.gif

Been debating on what Skagen to get for a bit now, finally pulled the trigger on this. It will work with most casual outfits but will fit in fine with dressy stuff as well, and the price wasn't bad.

I just bought 1 years subscription to the Premium of this very site... :D
I think I might drop the numbers off my name now. Is it Jordan I pm for that sort of stuff?

I just bought a cheap and cheerless Bluetooth dongle to get my wireless headset working on the PC:

I also purchased Little Big Planet from Tommi on here:
