It's not like we will be paying that much for a SE every year. It's a once in 5ish years cost. Anyway It is better value than the God of War Ultimate edition ever was.
Doesn't necessarily change the fact it costs almost as much as a console itself & the end result is most people just playing the game.

I'm all for Collector Editions & whatever, but not at $240. After 5 years of wait, seems a bit of a final kick in the gut for the biggest GT fans who have stood by PD through all this "madness".

Is there another set I'm not aware of? The Collector's Edition is $100, not $240.

He's referring to the Signature Edition (check the News page) that's an "in addition to" the CE that's being released here and mostly everywhere else. The SE however is only going to be available to most of Europe and anywhere else that isn't the US; there's also the chance to win an actual SLS as well.

New tires for the bike, put them on last night...

And this for my EVO

Works quite nicely I must say, at least for $10

just picked up this

canon-t2i-kit-18-55mm.jpg

a new Canon 550/T2i to replace my trusty but old even when I bought it XTI, 18 mp, 12000 ISO, stabilizer, 1080 video, way complete for an entry level DSLR and dirt cheap for what it can do at only 878 dollars. also got a share of memory cards, an extra batt, a couple Hoya filters and some other stuff. And MORE hot wheels. I'm happy (:

I considered the T2i before I decided on the T1i. You'll be very pleased with it for quite a while, I'm sure. 👍

@Terronium-12 - I can't remember the last time I was on the News page. Now armed with this info, I agree with Rick that $240 for that is asinine.

My hands have an annoying tendency to loose feeling in the fingers while I'm riding my bike so I'm hoping these take care of that.

And as they are almost 10 years old (and surprisingly no flats which means I'm about due! (and that I don't ride nearly enough!)), I figured it was about time to replace my tires as well. Not the exact tire but pretty close.

I also bought a headlight but it's a piece of crap and I'll be taking it back. Any suggestions for a decent, inexpensive light would be appreciated. :)

Have no idea how it works currently, but I did manage to upload all my music into it and set a nice background from IFL.com. I'd like a GTP icon and link to the homepage if that's possible, and if there are any nifty free apps for it, feel free to link 👍

What an absolute crappy day for shopping. The tires I bought, while being 26", which is the size of the existing tires and rims, were too big. :odd:

Brought them back and bought a different 26" tire that fit.

While working on changing out the tires, I found out I already had a new tube.

Brought one back, thankfully at the same time I brought back the tires.

The light I mentioned previously was brought back and replaced with this. Verdict is still out but it looks promising.

The ends of the hand grips split after being on the bike for less than 10 minutes.

Brought them back and picked up a new pair, hoping that it was an isolated occurrence. So far, so good.

With the day I've had, I'm not sure I want to go for a ride tonight... :nervous:

Hopefully your convergence technology light will be better than the last one.

If you don't like your new grips you could try Lizard Skins Charger grips that come in standard or the more expensive lock-on type, very squishy and comfy. I also find Specialized gel gloves pretty good to relieve pressure on the ulnar nerve nerve in your hand.

I'm in the process of building a media PC to hook into my TV so I can get all my movies and music off my desktop. I'm going to pick up some RAM and a graphics card tonight and I'll be all set.

I find that awesome 👍

Thank the Mrs spoted It at £3.99 and said "do you want this"
There on e-bay too.
It's on the door before you leave the house It does people's head In but they have to stare at It.

Nice solar panels. Glad to have them. They're mounted on the garage but if I can get a building permit, I want a solar tracker.

I just ordered a gtplanet poster :dopey:
Just takes time it to arrive here in Finland :)
Always nice to see people supporting GTPlanet, great work, especially considering your time spent here :).

EDIT: Oops! You have been here for years actually, double the time I have. That new member thing is VERY deceiving 👍.

I am SO close to buying an SLI PRO, which is basically the dash in an F1 car, for the sim rig. Just confirming a few things, then it's straight off into the sunset.

In other news, I persuaded Dad to get me a Macbook Pro for school :D

I bought stuff online.
Yay. Everyone loves paying 20% more in tax.
