I have just bought

Should arrive in 3 days. Another change to get my dfgt out.

They're good but these are awesome 👍

I've heard quite a bit about Eneloop's, but I forgot about them when I purchased the Powerex batteries. Which reminds me, what the eff happened to the image of the charger it came with? :odd:

Wow I just downloaded the rfactor demo. 1track 1 car but full features for that car and track. Plus somehow my average laptop can run it at full graphics without dropping framerate (my laptop doesn't even have a dedicated graphics card).

:D:D:D:D:D

I thought it was my firewall in work that was blocking the picture, what charger is it?

I've got a Technoline iCharger (BC900) which is called La Crosse Technology BC-9009 in the US. Pretty awesome battery charger if there is such a thing!

Eneloop batteries saved me getting a new camera after going through many different types of standard high capacity rechargeables that wouldn't last half a day because the voltage would drop below the level the camera thought they were empty. Eneloops have a lower capacity but they remain at a higher voltage throughout their charge so last much longer in cameras etc. One set of eneloops lasted me the duration of a 2 week holiday!

I want these but they're double the price of the white ones :ouch:

Powerex MH-C204FA NiMH and NiCD Rapid Charger

Allows you to either fully charge the batteries (which takes anywhere from 1-4 hours) or you can condition them, which you're recommended to do once every ten charges anyhow. I wanted to pick up the 8-pack with the charger, but it was a bit too expensive at the moment ($78.99). I haven't really put them to any real usage yet, so I don't know how long they'll last...but I mostly brought them for the Wii Remote (well, 2 of 'em anyway) so I'll see soon enough once these Panasonic's die....if they ever die.

Western Digital Elements 1TB External Hard Drive, for use with Time Machine.
Heh, bought the exact same thing a couple weeks ago. It’s a tad louder than I anticipated, but otherwise seems to work and look fine.

That's good to hear, I've found it to be a lot quieter than my other main hard drive which is nice. I can't hear it at all when the traffic is busy outside, whereas my others can be heard whirring away quite loudly. I'm going to leave it running over night to create backups from my other drives and my internal one anyway, I'll see how it goes from there.

The white sleep light is annoying though, it shines right in my eyes when I sleep!

You could use tape(or paper to reduce the brightness) to cover the led since it won't really be much use but act pretty.

This is what I'm planning on doing, I'll get a small piece of tape to cover it up. 👍

Completely new computer build that is priced under $400 for my parents. Plan on ripping out the DVD drive and card reader out of old computer. I also plan on giving the new build my 9800 GT since an ATI HD 2100 intergrated card is useless. The old computer got fried a little so it's unusable(can't left-click) and that's the reason why my dad let me get these parts. I know that it's a bit over the top for my parents but my dad wants it to last(he thinks PC's last forever).

I was reading that post and I was expecting the end to be:

"Building a great computer for less that 500$: Priceless. There are some things money can't buy. For everything else, there's MasterCard."

I can't believe how many people are actually going to dish out that much money just for the SE....

It's not like we will be paying that much for a SE every year. It's a once in 5ish years cost. Anyway It is better value than the God of War Ultimate edition ever was.

Might as well release that GT-edition nissan Z they put in the games.

I bought one o' these:

Which it a bit better than my DPF, I suppose. The pedals are broken, though, so I have to send it back in.
