Lowepro 202 AW Slingshot bag

Now I "just" need some audio equipment.  :nervous:

Did you buy it from that ebay guy?

What do you need 500mm focal length for? Birds? For most cases even my 300mm is too long.

He goes on Safaris. Also, wow.

This Is my birthday present to myself.

A Korum 12ft 1&3/4 lb test curve precision specialist rod, Shimano 5000 bait runner reel and some fox camo line.

I considered that pack before I decided on the Fastpack 250 as I didn't want the weight of my gear on only one shoulder all day. Regardless, it's an awesome set of packs Lowepro currently has. 👍

Yep, awesome bags. :D I love how fast I can get a camera out and shoot stills with this bag. Or video... :mischievous: ;)

I have both of those DVD's. Christine is a classic, alongside Maximum Overdrive and The Wraith. 👍

I love Maximum Overdrive, probably more than The Wraith.

Although I haven't seen either in quite a long time.

Just got this...
http://www.vizio.com/flat-panel-hdtvs/xvt323sv.html

Will that be enough to handle GT5p and GT5 (or most ps3 games for that matter)?
I understand 120hz isn't exactly ideal, a buddy said make sure it's 240 but I couldn't get word in to my parents before the purchase (I have them make the purchases since I work 7 days a week, too bad they aren't paying for it with their money).
(nah, it's about time I pay for my own stuff any way so I'm happy to buy the TV with my money). :)

That said... Seriously, should I expect problems from running gt5p in HD at 120mhz or will that be enough power to keep up?
Thanks in advance.

I would think that's more than enough, mine's 50hz and it still looks good. I think it's somewhat of a marketing gimmick once you get above 100hz/120hz.

120Hz and 240Hz TVs only really matter for movies and TV shows. As far as games go, you will be perfectly fine with what you got.

Yeah you actually should run all your games in 50/60hz. I have a 200hz(240HZ in the US) Z-Series Bravia, and on 120hz/240hz games are unplayable because of the input lag. Console games have a constant frame rate, so unlike getting a 120Hz PC monitor, it's not going to make things smoother.

Personally, when watching regular TV, I leave my TV on 100Hz all the time, and only when watching sport I put it on 200hz. And the Blurays go to 24p.

On the purchase front, I just got my girlfriend a laptop (nay, Netbook).

Acer Aspire One

Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz CPU
1GB RAM
250GB HDD
Wireless 802.11b/g
Webcam
6 Cell Battery
Windows 7 Starter

The 6 Cell Battery in a netbook actually makes me a bit envious. She literally was using it for about 8 hours yesterday before having to charge.

I'm not sure if the vizio can switch its rate but if it can I'll play around with it. Right now it isn't going to make a huge difference I'd imagine simply because I'm still waiting on my hdmi cable from newegg. Once I get that it will be all games and no tv for a while (gotta get through COD:MW2 and GT5P). By the time I'm done with those I'll already be behind with gt5 (since work is 12hrs a day, 7 days a week I get nearly zero game time).

All of that aside, the consensus is that my new product will be fine for gaming? Glad to hear it.

^^^ Add the original Gone in 60 Seconds to that list as well.

Already had that, along with 'The Junkman, gone in 60 seconds 2'

I have on order, but not yet received... Transformers G1 Complete Collection DVD
17 discs of original Transformers, Yeah Baby.

I am such a child

I have both on DVD, although I paid way too much for The Wraith. ($30 - bit hard to find) Just noticed tonight that I could have purchased it on the PSN for $10. :dunce:

Since I owed my friend 20 dollars..I got him this
akatsuki-tobi-uchiha-madara-mask.jpg

in total was like 22 dollars. But he didn't want to make this mask for his outfit..

With new Everything plan on Sprint.

Didn't you have an iPhone or am I mistaken now?

If I'm not, what were the reasons you changed your iPhone for the HTC? I really want a iPhone or a HTC, but they are so ridiculously expensive at the moment.

A ticket for:

You, Sir, Are an Impostor!

Btw, what happened to my post merging options!?

Question:
Any advice for getting my vizio to run as my pc monitor?
I hooked up cable I used on my previous PC monitor and nothings working. The TV works fine, I'm already enjoying GT5p on the system but I just can't get my computer to show up. Any advice would be appreciated. :)

Likewise, when I hooked it up and restarted the computer it showed the full start up process but when it got to the point where I'd log in I was given a "Invalid Format" error message and then the screen went black.

Thanks in advance,
-

Apologies for being extremely late to the party, but I've finally got round to picking up GT Prologue.

Did you install another Windows version already? Starter sucks, I didn't even know they sell this version in non third world countries.

It's been awhile since I bought a football game so I picked this up, was only $50 at Target.

Also bought a tire pump for my bike.

You are mistaken. I had an iPod touch some time ago, but I've never been a fan of AT&T's service or pricing, and the iPhone is just too locked in.

As for getting the HTC, I wanted the larger screen size (4.3" vs 3.5") and prefer the more open nature of the Android platform. Plus Sprint has better pricing on their data service and 4G network in areas around here.

Well. I actually have a few copies of Ultimate at home. So I was going to upgrade from that. But at the moment I really can't be assed doing it without a DVD Drive. So I'll wait and buy an external I think.

That said Starter is what my GF is happy with at moment. Just really Surfs the net and makes word documents. But maybe in time she'll want to change the wallpaper

De-loused In The Comatorium

I love that album. Possibly one of the best of all time.
