I'm not sure what I'll put it on. The Ranger doesn't have a back window, and I'm not sure if I want to put it on the Tundra. So I may just save it.

Sniped a couple textbooks off ebay. I bet I really pissed off this one guy that I beat in two auctions for an organic chem text. I got one for me and one for a friend, lol. The last one was at like 70 bucks. We both pulled the trigger at 5 seconds remaining. My max bid was 150 and his was 135, so I beat him by a buck. :lol:

I purchased 2 more 25 lb weights for our weight room. Now I will finally be able to put 300lbs on my bar. 👍

While waiting for my script at the pharmacy I came across this in a discount bin. It's a Dub City MINI Cooper. For $6.99 I thought what the hell and threw it in the basket.

Yup, really sucks. Loved that car to death. Plus, it was the only coupe I ever saw in that colour around here...

He's fine now, the big scar on his belly from the surgery (he had internal bleedings from the fall) aren't visible because of the fur, only visible mark is right below his mouth, when he hit the sidewalk.
Though he landed on his feet, it was just too high and he carried a lot of momentum, his paws and legs couldn't take all of the impact so he slammed his jaw and body pretty hard on the ground.

I would do it all over again I'm sure; a car is just a car, no matter how much you like it. 👍

It's detailed enough, everything looks to be in the right spot. The paint on it is pretty "meh" but it'll do for the price. I put it on my desk at work.

It's to replace one of my driving lamps after some asshat in a lifted Dodge Ram passed me on the dirt shoulder and threw rocks all over my car :grumpy:.

Hopefully i will receive it before this weekend, then i can go ahead and install it...

I finally decide to pull the trigger on this one... have been waiting for a Sony unit with Bluetooth to drop below the $130.... but they never do...

I got tired of shifting my car and holding my phone, using either a wired ear piece, or having the small phone speaker ON... none of that were convenient enough... and i couldnt wait for the price to drop, so I gave in.

At the same time, i choose a unit with both USB and Aux Front Inputs 👍

For those interested: the model is MEX-BT3800U In-dash CD Car Receiver.

Time to replace the old unit that came with my car.


EDIT: There was a prettier unit by Pioneer but it was above the $200 marks. $50 is not much difference?? i dont know why i didnt choose it instead...
the other thing i didnt like about the Pioneer was the big control button, it was a joystick that is too flat for me to turn as a volume button...
And with big fingers, that's not so practical. Together with the price difference, it was too much for me. Otherwise, i much prefer the Pioneer over the Sony.

This is the one i DID NOT choose (in favor of the Sony):

I love the school bookstore and how they mark up books at full retail value. Just got my 2nd organic lab text that I'm reselling to friends for 10 bucks profit while still undercutting the bookstore by an average of 80 bucks.

BTW, Lasership is the most gangster shipping company in the world. I was walking my dog and a nasty beat-up old van came flying by with a crooked "Package Delivery" magnet on the side. They slammed the brakes at my house and someone jumped out the side with my book and ran up to my door, ran back, jumped in the van like in a Jason Statham movie, and the van peeled off. :lol: They hire a bunch of regular people with their private vehicles to deliver packages for them, because I suppose they only handle the aircraft portion of delivery. They specialize in overnight deliveries, and now I know why. Straight gangster.
