Upgraded my Sonar 8.5 Studio to the Producer edition. :)

I've still got the first edition of that and was a regular collector of it for a few years....

I stopped when I fell out of touch with F1, but they seriously have some fantastic pictures in them and their articles are always an interesting read.

They did seem to be a bit tabloidy at times...is that still the case?

(I'm referring to the F1 magazines by InvincibleM5 if anyone doesn't understand my post!)

Er, yeah I meant to. But already had made a post about it and couldn't edit it to show the quotes....

Yeah, messed up a bit there! Ah well, we live and learn...I do apologise.

Honestly mate, those are my first F1 Racing magazines :P I was lucky to found those magazines on sale for a very, very attractive price of MYR5 each (very hard to find one here)! I just grabbed 4 of them and by today I have read issue #156.

The articles are indeed interesting to read, full of information and facts about F1, teams, drivers and team personals. Well yes they seem to be a bit tabloidy...

These to go with my dirt bike.
Should be arriving tomorrow where I will wear them around the house for 2 days.
EDIT: to break em in of course :P

Well, with a 6-month-old baby crawling and walking are quickly approaching. As that is the case it means that our open-air shelved entertainment center had to go. A quick sale on Craigslist followed by a trip to Walmart and we have this:

Locking devices for the doors from Babies R Us are coming soon.

Now, here is my only issue: It gets hot. I leave the doors open when using the 360 or PS3, but it still feels hot. There are vent holes in the back of the cabinet unit but they are small and do very little, even with the unit further out from the wall than my wife likes.

So, I am contemplating purchasing this USB fan. I see a number of people talking in reviews about using it specifically as I am intending.

Any other ideas?

I was hoping to see a perfectly good used heart for you.
Anyway why not just buy a real small electric fan to mount in the back during the winter I use one to keep my PS3 cool I just let it blow across the air vents.

I'm still waiting to find out if I need a new heart right now.

I want a USB fan so that it will come on when the PS3/360 is on and turn off when I turn the PS3/360 off.

And I am trying to decide if, with the PS3, placing the fan in the back, blowing across the heat exhaust vents (intake is in the front), or placing it in the front, sucking the hot air away from the heat exhaust vents, is better. I may have to experiment.

First off good luck with your health situation.

I have a similar TV cabinet for the same reasons and had a similar dilemma with heat build up causing the fans to go into hair dryer mode on my PS3 fat although I never did sort it out so ended up getting a PS3 slim.

I couldn't get a usb fan like that in the UK so got a PC case fan and wired it up to a usb cable which worked but is the wrong voltage so didn't really spin fast enough. I've taken the whole back panel off my cabinet which pretty much solves the heat build up although still use small rubber pads to keep the door open a crack. If you're going to get that usb fan I would cut a hole in the back panel and fit it into it so it draws air out of the cabinet otherwise you're just blowing hot air around an enclosed space. Just make sure the door is still slightly open so air can be drawn in.

This weekend I wired up three 12v case fans to a plug from the router I'm not using anymore and plugged it into the switched receptacle on my receiver. If you happen to have a plug that runs the same output voltage as the fans you like, you can pick up case fans for much cheaper (I only linked to those as they are the ones I'm using) than $18, otherwise needing to buy a power supply would throw the cost difference out the window.

And the fans I'm using are surprisingly quiet. The 35dB from the USB one would get severely annoying. And you really don't need 66cfm for that.

Would 35dB make a difference, considering on the other side of that clock on the right is a window unit A/C? And that room also has a HEPA air purifier running.

Maybe you could make the holes in the back bigger, so there is more air flow.
The back is solid, which means that would be a hassle.

16GB iPhone4, for the first time in my life a mobile phone company didn't give me the run around...well OK they did at first but they got me the phone in three business days and it took me less then 10 minutes to pick it up and get it activated.

So far I love it. Now I just need a case for it or something. And I've been trying for 20 minutes to get it to lose signal and I can't.

Don't Apple have a campaign running where you can order a free iPhone bumper for those who have ordered an iPhone 4?

I've searched every single store here for a white bumper. They had the bumpers in perhaps 256 different colors, but no white. I went with the black one instead which is making my iPhone look fat :grumpy:

My little brother is going to go insane over this game:

Already have a range of mods for it. When I'm going to show it to my brother he's going to ruin my new ASUS with his drooling. God, where's the time when I was 10 years and used to get up at 7 in the morning to see those gigantic John Deeres harvest the corn with those huge silage trailers.

Can't believe how much they charge for some stupid PC mouse, but now that I've been using it throughout the day and played some games with it; Money almost well spent! :P

Also,

gta-4.jpg

So far my laptop has handled Crysis on custom very high settings, and Fallout 3 on ultra settings like a charm. I'm crossing my fingers it will run this game smoothly on any setting. Late to the party, but I just have to have this game!

Beats me, I need to look into the bumpers thing but I think it makes the phone look hideous. I just want a simple, slim black case like my 3G had.

When I took over the 3GS from my dad it had a plastic case. It was horrible. It did a fantastic job of protecting the phone, but there was no protection on the screen. Got my bumper cheap and even got 3 screen protection films (films? layers?) with it 👍

Oh, I forgot to add in my previous post:

It's huge, but looks fantastic. Always ran out of space on my old one. Got a small discount on this one, so I was sold immediately.

In that case I doubt it. The other thing in your favor is the variable speed switch because I'm guessing you won't have enough incoming air to feed the fan it's full 66cfm which will also drive the dB down.

Also, in looking at the fan again, the switch is on the outfeed side so you might end up having to do some tweaking, unless you're planning on it just sitting on a shelf, not actually mounting it in the cabinet.

Just got myself a new gaming PC and monitor. :dopey:

27" BenQ M2700HD and the PC is one I put together myself (never buying a pre-built PC again... this is my 2nd custom one).

Bought the HDMI stuff so I could use my PS3, NES-PC computer, Canon T2i camera, and anything else at the same time without removing the HDMI cable. Plan on only connecting three HDMI devices at the most for now. I bought the datapilot software so I could export pictures from my phone and not ask my parents to use Sprint's stupid picture email scam which would cost me too much in the long term. I also got the power cord for my mom so she can use an old boombox in her sewing room.

I just got paid $350 for selling textbooks from ebay to people at college. So I dropped it on another GTX 480 for my computer sauna machine.

Pretty green Sony thing was horrid, so it went back very quickly and I now have this:

...which is so lovely that I want to marry it.
